Just over $14M to tag him for one year. They can no longer tag him. He's not a RFA they can "match".

He's probably going to get $13M+ from Tennessee, Jacksonville or Chicago.

 

I just don't get the point of franchise tagging unless you think they will get offered more than the tag. 14 mil was a very large tag.

Denver is trying to swoop in and steal Calais from Jacksonville......

 

Calais is deciding between Jacksonville($14M) & Denver ($13M).

 

If denver gets Leary AND Calais, how will they have enough for Romo? And that will suck if he follows them there.

What was Denver's cap space going into this season??

Hmm. I don't like his mental makeup. I think he would crater under BOB. Arm talent was never a question, but that's only part of the equation.
