Yeah, water park was a lot better, hopefully rest of the season goes that way. I think the 1st episode could have been better, but I just think they wanted to play it somewhat safe. I mean obviously it can be a tough subject but I think there were better opportunities than what they did. For example maybe it might have been better to have done more on the Quantum Leap joke, or maybe made them a minority with them still being white, like a complete alternate US, I thought initially it might be that since they were discussing 'The Wiz', but obviously that wasn't the case once they saw their reflection.
The waterpark episode had me laughing like a mental patient. It got to the point that the simple act of another kid landing on them in the slide made me lol in anticipation of the reaction.
Loved the second episode. Laughed all the way through. Even laughed just at the info reading about Dee and Mack getting stuck in the slide. Workaholics was fantastic as well this week.
The recent one was great. I was dying, especially at Mac and Dee. I was pleased with Dennis' part too; glad they didn't make him creep out on women the whole time.
Is that good? I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of swearing in the last episode. Several words I hadn't heard on basic cable before.
Which one was the last episode? Oh yeah. PTSDee. I didn't feel nothin' about it. Sorry, I can't get that image of Mac's bike out of my head.
Yeah. That was a strong episode. Every episode elicits a chuckle from me at least but I can't think of when I laughed that hard since maybe that Thanksgiving episode? Don't remember. It's good to see them use that extra X in FXX. It's not like they're bound by FCC rules and everyone watching the show knows they're degenerates. This season seems to be more free somehow. Go gay Mac!
Intersting finale to one of the best seasons in a long time. Looks like the show will be pretty different moving forward
Yeah, especially with Glenn Howerton slated to get a new show on NBC. I didn't like this season tbh. Too self referential, a lot of experimental episodes. The show is in contract until season 14, but I'd hate to see them become like the Simpsons and go well past their due date.
From what I read, he said it has nothing to do with his new show, he referenced Kaitlin Olsen doing her new show and Sunny still. But I guess he is gonna leave it open to returning I actually thought this was the best overall season since like season 5, I don't think they will go any further than season 14, especially since it looks like they are all looking at new projects.
Decent season, couple of good episodes, glad they wrapped up some things... Hopefully Howerton is back
