What's our record vs the 1, 2, and 4 seed now?

I didn't watch the game so just checked some posts to see what happened and as usual, poor 3pt shooting and poor supporting cast are our downfall. Then I see highlights of spurs game, no Kawhi, no Aldridge, they come back from 28 pts down to win. Our role players have to produce more consistently if we they want to have any shot in the playoffs.

Harden can't do it by himself. I had hoped Lou and Gordon could be the playmakers we needed to help out. Looking like they streaky ass hell. Ima give them a lil more time before I get mad them.

    Amazing formula discovered in Houston:
    RIM PROTECTOR + DEFEND 3 PT LINE = L

Plug in pretty much any team with a decent defense and size in the middle
and we seem to see the same result. This formula has been proven regularly in recent weeks.
Our 3 pt shooters disappear and our attacks on the rim are inadequate.
Like watching an adolescent moose being tracked and taken down by a pack of wolves.
So hard to watch, but you know what's coming. Efforts to resist prove futile and eventually succumb to the opposition
    Yeah, it feels like THAT

Offensively, Clint and Trez were impressive tonight, although I think Trez needs to fight more for the rebounds. Two rebounds is lame. Clint gets my kudos for another double double. He's getting better all the time. That was the good I will take with the bad. Offensively, Beverley and Dekker had a combined 5 points and 3 rebounds. That is terrible!! We can't win games when they don't contribute more offensively and on the boards. Defensively Beverley and Dekker had 5 steals, which is great, so I can't say they didn't hustle defensively.

We need a healthy Anderson, especially with the 3 pt game, because without him our offense suffers. This 3 guard lineup just isn't cutting it. I really don't understand why Harrell can't play power forward at times, combining up with Clint. James needs another great "consistent" shooter to come in for Anderson or Ariza off the bench. Dekker is hot and cold, still learning, and very inconsistent in his shooting. I'd love to get another veteran to help out at that position.

Let's hope we can get back on a roll really quick, and start winning our way up to the playoffs. We have played the hardest part of our schedule, and now is not the time to start sputtering. Let's go Rockets!!! We can do this!!

Very disappointed but a good reality check: we are a dumb team who will stubbornly stick to just shooting threes EVEN THOUGH WE KNOW THEY ARE GREAT AT DEFENDING IT and they have the advantage on the boards.

Weren't you the idiot that told me the Rockets would stomp the Jazz a mud hole in the playoffs.

Now you want to question matchups against that team. Jazz were missing two starters. STFU

This team drops off huge without Anderson, Ego or Bev.

Also Harden needs to be more aggressive finishing at the rim. Quit kicking out when you have a layup.

what a series of unfortunate events.

This was a VERY bad day for the Rockets and James Harden.

Spurs suck just enough for Beadle to say Spurs suck without Kawhi at halftime of the first game broadcast on ESPN. Then Spurs come back to win. Now Spurs only a couple games back of GSW.

GSW in danger of losing actually propping up Durant for MVP. Spurs have a real chance of getting that 1st seed and torpedoing Harden's MVP campaign.

Spurs have OKC on Thursday in full view of the country. Russ and Kawhi, two media darlings. Spurs will win prop and prop up Kahwi. OKC will lose and Westbrook will have huge numbers and prop him up above Harden.

Rockets Have Bulls and Cavs on the horizon and lose the tiebreaker with Utah. Rockets in danger of losing the 3 seed.

    what a f&*king day...

When it's time for us to flex on some decent competition we just pee our panties.

This team needs to grow a f'n pair

Dekker needs to drive more and use his athleticism.. he has become a spot up shooter when that isn't his strength..

See that is the problem with a Harden ONLY offense - everyone is a supporting role, so when you ask a bunch of supporting people to lead, they struggle.

Meanwhile teams like the Spurs have a more team oriented approach, where everyone shares the load, and they play D.

The Rockets, IMHO are a gimmicky team - a good team, just not a great one.

His form is bad, he doesn't come down in the same spot he jumped from. His feet and his arms are not on the same page. lol I was surprised at some of his makes early on. He just needs a offseason to fix that form of his. He'll be alright if we wait for him to develop.

Not sure if you watched the game, but all Harden's baskets were layups. I only recall one made shot that wasn't at the rim. He attacked plenty.

Rockets don't need great 3PT%, but they can't shoot terribly. Team shot 33% minus James 0-8.

When he was hot early in the season I didn't believe it either.

Houston as a team was horrible on the boards and they played really bad defense. They also did not outwork Utah Harrell had a good game and played like someone who wanted to win the game. The rest of the team played like they wanted to see the Durantless Warriors in the 2nd round, assuming they stay the 1 seed. I do not mind the Rockets losing, but they are losing the same way all the time.
