The Jazz and their fans are secretly, quietly plotting to destroy us. They are drooling at the fantasy of claiming 3rd seed from us, and this game is key to working towards that, and possibly winning the season series. Despite some injuries and some fatigue, they've won 6 of 8. They believe we are over confident and overrated. Our own inverse homers will no doubt also be secretly cheering them on. Now, get rid of your anger and your hatred for a couple of days, and send your purest and most positive energy to the Rockets players. If you are an old school Rocket fan, you relish the opportunity to defeat the Jazz. This one would be especially fun, knowing they are secretly giggling in some cave somewhere about how this "win" will be so sweet. I don't know what they do in salt lake city, but it's gotta be something to do with caves. I'm sure it's caves. Jazz fans in caves. It just makes sense. Let's do it people. We want this win.
I got upset last night watching Leonard come up big for them. But this morning it hit me. The Rockets are just as good as the Spurs. It took Kawahi's best game to put down the Rockets at home. I would expect the Rockets to have a decent shot at beating the Spurs in a series. Great Great game.
All I wanted to do was win 3 in a row for a change, but it was too much to hope for I guess. Oh well, let's do this and start a new winning streak. Let's make the Jazz sing the Blues all the way back to Utah, and show them what it's like to get a beat down in H-Town.
We're going to do exactly what we did to Marc Gasol and Jordan... if he stays back in the lane against the High PnR, we will shake Harden's defender and drive 2 on 1 straight at him, forcing help to leave a corner 3, or easy bucket, then he will come out, and we'll get behind him, then to start the 3rd Q MDA will flip the script and have Capela camp at the rim forcing Gobert to stay put, and we'll shake Harden's man with some 21 Thru and Houston Fist Up to go straight at him again for some alley oops. Recall Capela and Nene combined for 36 pts in our Win earlier this year. MDA will get him spinning around again, looking to guard everything...but guarded nothing, instead.
