good point... a game like this Montrez could've played some minutes in the midst of the wide open bricks being chucked out there at the glass

Please share with us where the refs gave us a phantom call with the spurs up by 6 and on offense with 3 and 1/2 minutes left that resulted in the lead being cut from 6 to 3 instead of a possible 6..maybe even 8-9 point lead. Save your effort...you can't. Yes, mistakes are made by refs on both ends But WHEN they are called makes ALL the difference in the world.

Rockets laid some wide open Bricks out there tonight and I usually don't go to the old blame the refs HOWEVER they clearly controlled who had the momentum tonight and when they had it in my opinion

Its not just that. They let the Spurs get away with an 8 second violation at the end of the game AND didn't call us for fouling when it was an obvious intentional foul situation.

Meanwhile, don't bother with DD. He's a complete clown.

    This.

I didn't notice the 8-sec, but if the team was looking for it, it happened, and they didn't say anything...... it defies logic.

Wait the 8 second call would have come when we were down by 2. So they could have fouled prior to that and still been down 2. When you're down by 2 with 20 seconds or less on the clock, it's not really a good time to play for an 8 second violation. That just isn't smart basketball.

I agree that Leonard is not the first choice to foul, but he passed the ball and the Rockets could have fouled then.

I think the preferences would have been in this order:
    1. Foul somebody (hopefully not Leonard, but if need be then foul him) before the 8 second call.
    2. 8 Second call. Still enough time for a couple of options, but not really to have a decent audible if plan A or B falls through.
    3. Foul at the end which they tried.

In a close game, every play counts. Kawai air balled a 3 and got a phantom foul on Ariza. We win if that play is called correctly and all of the stupid narratives float away. Think of the origin of Clutch City when the Rockets and Houston were labeled Choke City after giving up big 4th quarter leads at home to the Suns. The fact that the Rockets were getting big leads so consistently- then and now- is the important thing. Once the team tightens up on the little things, they are going to wreck old ass teams like the Spurs. You watch.

I don't want to hear shiiiit about K.Leonard stealing mvp from harden. *** mvp. See Olajuwon/ DRob.

All that matters is the playoffs. Win or go *** ur self or go *** a fish or go fishing or golfing or some shiiiit

Yes, I agree that would have been better. That was my option number 2.

It was a good night for James. If anything, tonight's performance should gain him more MVP votes. It's just that Kawhi got a bigger boost, that's all.

All I can say is FUUIUUUUUUCCCCCJKKKJK

That game was really frustrating. In the end you've got to respect the effort from both teams , we just made mistakes and their coach is better . We were so close to a great win .
