Saving grace...The Spurs and Coach Pop still cant stop James Harden from going off at San Antonio...Pop has nightmares about Harden in the post season...
Another heart break lost to the Spurs. Rockets are right there but still have work to do. I wish Harrell would get some minutes tonight.
On paper, they can. In fact, they very easily can if they are hitting their 3's. Unfortunately, we are consistently out-executed by them.
Go back and watch. The Spurs started making their run before Harden was inserted in the 4th. The team didn't match the Spurs intensity on that run and they made mistakes. It happens. They can sulk, b**** about it or grow from it. I think it will ultimately help them.
like i said earlier, we could have put this game almost away if our bench stepped up in the second quarter
What this game proved is the refs are blind or crooked or both. See Leonard 3 free throw gift plus. Then we have no room for error as EG went over and back and hardens missed ft ----fukd it all up
I don't like that ref replay on the Lee block. It paused the game too long, gave the Spurs a free time out and resulted ina miss by Harden. Lou Williams was garbage tonight. People look at him scoring 17 ppg off the bench for us coming into this game and ignored the fact that the trend has been negative and they need more time to figure it out. I wish MDA would figure out what to do with Harrell. He brings too much energy to be getting DNPs. I forgot Ryan Anderson was on the team until I was checking the box score. Lol. Remember when Sam Dekker could shoot? Yeah, those were good times. Wtf happened with his shot?
The game's pace changed after Harden entered the game in the 4th quarter. It honestly felt like the McHale iso offense all over again for the last 6 mins. The first 6 mins of the 4th the bench seemed to find the only rhythm it had all game. Anyway, give the Spurs credit for punishing every mistake the Rockets made. Yes, the refs were completely one-sided, but the Spurs made the plays they had to make.
Lol, It's so many emotions going at the moment. Tony Parker becoming Curry for awhile Kawhi is a MVP Candidate, so he don't really bother me. Refs just calling the most for the Spurs. I mean, my goodness. Didn't know if I was looking at Kobe/Jordan out there. No 8 second call. No foul at the end I have no clue what it is, Spurs can lose to crappy teams. However, they always... I swear always have some BS that always get wins against us.
It sucks for sure. I'm not ok with it. The Rockets need to understand that the intensity needs to be matched, can't make mistakes and need to execute on both ends of the floor in crunch time. I hope it stings and they learn from it. We will see.
Why do officials have so much influence on the pace of the game? That play changed the whole game. The Refs made sure to call fouls every time the Rockets begin to take momentum. I can't believe this **** is still happening in 2017, it's pitiful for a professional league. How does a official call something he doesn't even see? The league is already top heavy. Why do the refs always favor the better team?
It shouldn't have come down to those last plays but Nene was definitely fouled on that offensive putback
Rockets were one sore back away from winning this game. I have no doubt Anderson would have got a dagger three somewhere.. Man, this hurts..
