Look, I'm not happy with any loss, it sucks. Still, it's one game and there is a lot of season left. This team is having a very good season and it's far from being over. I believe in this team.
He hit a 3 to put us up 6 with 2 minutes left, possession after Ariza fouls Kawhi (or not what ****ing ever), possession after Gordon turns it over. He missed a free throw. Ok. He had his shot blocked, give kawhi some credit, it was an all-pro play. Those guys went at it, difference was the refs & the bench.
"A team is considered to have crossed midcourt when the ball and both of the ballhandler’s feet are in the frontcourt. " should have been 8 second violation.
3:38 left...phantom call on an airball by Leonard (Harden has the rebound)...instead of being up 6 and headed to the other end on offense, your lead is 3. BIGGG difference.
I don't think the ball was cleared in eight seconds. what are the rules on passing it right before the 8 second violation?
If they had just made ONE more... Or if the ghost Leonard call hadnt been made... Or if the Nene call wouldve been made... Or if the 8 second violation had been called... Or if the refs had called the intentional foul.
People on this board criminally underrate Kawhi's offensive game...The dude has evolved into a damn good scorer...in addition to be a TOP end defender...
Just rewatched it It was a 8 second violation 10.6 seconds inbound 2.1 by time someone touched it on the other side That is not egregious as the rest. Rocket River
So what they were sticking with the spurs and keeping the lead harden came in and gave it up in a matter of seconds. He try's to be the man and run the clock down for what? Just run the offense and get a good shot is all we need to do
WTF is Calvin saying the refs let them play and didn't call ticky tack fouls? Does he announce for the Spurs now? Was he watching the same game?
The kind of game that makes you wonder what life would be like if refs were consistent. Awfully close to a goaltend on the block and nene absolutely fouled but after a game full of ticky tack calls refs decide to "let players play" sigh...
Spurs may have the MVP this season but the champs will be either the Warriors or the Cavs everyone knows
