Lou, Dekker and Anderson weren't playing well.

That sequence was insane. I can't be mad if Kawhi wins it over Harden. I will be upset if Westbrook were to win it though.

Spurs will have the better record
    3-1 H2H
Not that tonight only matters but matched Harden tonight (KL: 12-18 | 39-6-5; JH: 13-20 | 39-12-3)

Voters will give KL the edge, if they weren't leaning that way already.

so your saying...every guy has to be sharp all the time for the rockets to win? nah. Harden was great for most of the game. The bench held their own for most of the game too. but when it came down to it they got outplayed in winning time. and individually Leonard outperformed harden when it counted

Harden had a MASSIVE uphill battle to shake Westbrook. He almost did it.

I believe Harden had to run the table against the West elite. He had a GREAT game today but this one hurts.. The optics are just way to good for Kawhi.

It seems like they both played at similar levels.
Kwahi had one big block that I guess was the difference.

But y'all are way too focused on this Harden MVP thing. The bigger issue is the Rockets can't close out the Spurs and were idiotic down the stretch. Surely the play call wasn't to wait u til 2 seconds left to do a soft foul.

Rockets and Spurs will play each other again if neither gets upset in the first round.

Hopefully the Rockets can learn to close in the postseason against the Spurs.

Also Kwahi is in a zone right now. It won't last. He'll still be great mind you but he's not going to play like this for the next 2 months.

nah man, right. everyone is not going to be sharp all the time. you can always point to certain guys in any given game on both sides. for instance, aldridge was awful. The rockets did pretty much all they could do tonight. Great effort, but not enough.

Held their own? They played horrible the first half.....

    When it counted.
    It counts all 48 minutes.
Harden had just as good if not better game than Leonard.

Beverley and Harden were good tonight. That is it.

Even tho kawhi blocked the shot , that was the right play from James . Nene should've been able to put it back . I'll never complain about James attacking

I don't want to go back and fourth. but, I disagree with your assessment of the game.
