Actually you dont have to go too far...Obama did illegally spy on his "allies"...If Im not mistaken German Chancellor and others all had private conversations spied on by his administration. That being said...Congress needs to address the scope of what rights the American citizen has in regards to "wire tapping"
This could certainly end up being proven true by Monday, but not based on this. Areu didn't do a great job verbalizing that it was a source from the Obama White House and/or administration, and that source doesn't seem to definitively confirm it happened. And Guilfoyle's qualifier that she was a liberal journalist who worked in the Bush administration is probably not necessary.
Except I don't think most people are saying that Trump and his staff are definitely Russian operatives. I think what they are saying is that there deserves to be an investigation. 1. We know that the Russians tried to interfere in the election and interfere on the side of Donald Trump. 2. All Trump's team had to have done was actually tell the truth, supposedly. 3. There are plenty of circumstances where there is nothing wrong with meeting the Russian ambassador or any other Russian. So why would Flynn, Sessions, and these other people on Trump's team lie about their meetings? 4. The problem is that they are acting guilty. We don't have any evidence that they are guilty. But for some reason they are acting the way that people act who have something to hide. Trump has already shown that he doesn't really know how the government works, and didn't actually seem overly concerned about these allegations.
Im not stupid to post something I didnt watch.. Apparently, this is brand new information that has corroborated the information that Trump was wiretapped. Secondly..."what does doing their due diligence" even mean? In the middle of a closely contested election, the President of the US had to have given the OK to "investigate" their false hunch. How quickly your story turned from Trump "made" up baseless accusations to now...well it happened on someone else's directive...
Not at all, again, a president can't order this to go forward. The Burden of proof to wiretap through FISA is not anything like a call threatening Carrier or firing off a tweet at 4AM. The FBI and DOJ didn't get the permission to do this from Obama. I welcome a full, thorough investigation and stand with Lindsey Graham, #realtalk. I would be the first to condemn Obama if he somehow ordered this or condoned it through surrogates--book it. Until such time, the current admin deserves suspicion and scrutiny on its own merits.
GOP congressman Justin Amash, Senator Ben Sasse, and Lindsey Graham have joined Democrats challenging Trump to "put up or shut up" with respect to unsupported accusations about him being wiretapped by former President Obama. Again, at this point an independent counsel needs to lead an independent investigation of Trump and his people, including his and their connections to Russians. Since it may involve money it should also include a detailed examination of his tax records.
Bannon has stated there is a "deep state". These guys have always lived under all kind of conspiracy theories, and this is yet another one of them. The "deep state", where Obama is now part of it, and even Bush, is out there to bring Trump down. Paranoid behavior. And it is exactly what his core base will believe in. The simple reason of him being wiretapped is proof of a deep state, and saying Obama is part of it give more 'evidence' of it. You cannot have a "deep state" where only the DOJ/FBI did this wiretapping job on their own. His core base will believe that Obama has ordered this, without evidence. And there can not be any evidence that prove DOJ/FBI acted independently. That's how conspiracy theory works. The core supporters simple understanding is Trump is being unfairly treated, being victim of the "deep state" and you should not trust anything negative about him. Cult like behaviors being honed.
http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-idUSKBN16C0MG Unbelievable. Trump makes his accusation on twitter, and a day later the White House asks Congress to actually investigate whether its true? A week after some of us hoped that Trump may have turned a corner, we see that he is who we thought he was.
Yes it is indeed certain. He brought a backho to a hand dig. A president in his predicament would be wise to avoid recalling a coverup scandal that led to the resignation of a POTUS. Further, the last time he made baseless claims about his predecessor, it did not end well. There is a track record here. Finally, he draws attention to a FISA warrant, which will only accelerate calls for discovery.
Hopefully an independent investigation is started... all these questions about Trump, his administration, and Russians. And make sure to look at those tax returns, as they will likely add important insight into why Trump can spend so much time playing golf every weekend.
You're incredibly biased. I'd encourage you to diversity the people you talk to and the sources where you get your media. Don't forget the democrats have incredibly low credibility - just look at how they rigged the election in favor of Hillary, as was brought to light by the leaks.
I regret that I overlooked one more certainty: Rebuttal free replies from partisan posters in the debate and discussion subforum. I encourage you to diversify your diversion attempts in the future.
You just created a thread linking to a tabloid paper that contains nothing but tweets from Donald Trump. Is that an unbiased source? And the only response you're able to muster in these threads is that others are just biased.
