for a SF meeting a min games and minutes requirement.

    On the season:

    6 ppg
    2.5 rpg
    33% FG
    25% 3PT

This is the worst season EVER, per basketball reference, regardless of salary.

Something to be celebrated in a season of historic highs and lows.

How many games? What a colossal failure of a contract.

This is making Ryan looking like Lebron ..... when mentioned in the same breath as You know who.

It benefitted us that he became a diva. If he had stayed here, then he would've signed a big contract and would be our albatross. Dodged a bullet.

I haven't really been following the Grizzlies. I assume he's playing hurt? They should just shut him down. He clearly isn't helping the team, and he's just taking minutes away from other players.

Parsons career might be close to finished, unless he can make a drastic change to his playing style.

His key assets during his time with the Rockets were:
    1. Glue guy, can handle heavy duty minutes.
    2. Athletic off-ball cutter who can finish strong.
    3. Broken jump shot form that was effective because he had enough elevation and bend on his knees.
    4. Solid defender (earlier on in his career) and could be tasked with guarding some of the tougher assignments.
    5. Very solid passer who knew how to move the ball.

Parsons has basically lost 1, 2, 3 and 4 at this stage. I do not think it is a matter of injury, because if it was actually concerning I doubt the Grizzlies would still be giving him minutes since this is only the first year of a 96 million dollar contract. At this stage, I wouldn't be surprised if the Grizzlies are hoping Parsons could find some semblance of use on the court so some part of that big contract is contributing and they could get extra help in the playoffs.

I think he was hurt earlier in the year, but what's going on lately? Is he still hurt? Is he damaged goods after the knee surgery? Is he just washed up at an early age?

He had knee surgery and it does not appear to be healing very quickly this year. You have to wonder how much he will be able to recover long term. Knee problems for guys like Chandler can be the death of careers.

I think you're right. Point number 3 there is especially on point.

I know people here for the most part hate Parsons. But I think that sucks. He was a promising young player.

We should thank Mark Cuban. Why do people hate Cuban so much here? :)

Well he is responsible for the Cavs getting Williams and Bogut for nothing. I hate him for that.

An obnoxious strudy boy. His career has gone downhill ever since he trash talked the city of Houston and took passive aggressive jabs at us.

He should just go ahead and be on the Bachelor and get on with it. That's his destiny.

Warms my heart that he was mercilessly booed yesterday. He's trash. Inside and out.
