Potential Western Conference playoff matchup and they won't even give us the primetime slot. Instead it goes to a 5th seeded LAC (half game ahead of #6) West team against a 6th seeded East team Chicago that have zero history with each other.

Even the Knicks got a Saturday game the other week, and THREE Sunday Showcase games. They're currently #12 in the East. The Rockets have ONE appearance in the 17 Saturday Night/Sunday afternoon matchups. 3rd best record in the NBA, one of the most potent offenses of all time and we can't get any national coverage.

I know the games are set ahead of time and can't be flexed like the NFL, but c'mon man.

We've actually done well (recently) against teams with 2 good bigs . We doubled Davis and cousins in the post and that worked well . Griffin and Jordan both revived extra attention and those bodies in the paint helped us win the rebounding battle .

It's against teams with a strech 4 and good perimeter players that we struggled rebounding against . We had to pay attention to outside threats and our guys were not in position to go grab the board.

Only 1 thing matters about this game.

It starts at 8pm on a Saturday, a non-work day. If we don't have at least 90% butts in seats at tip off then all excuses are invalid.

Salivating at the thought of Harden holding Z-Bo out of that paint on the backdown.

You misunderstand though. The NBA is flexed. It's just that they flex it to make sure one of the teams from L.A. is relevant to casual fans.

Don't worry, soon we won't have the Clips shoehorned into prime time games anymore. Earvin "magic" Johnson is going to turn the Lakers into a powerhouse soon. And if he doesn't, they'll still get some ESPN,TNT, etc. love so the pundits can discuss the possible reemergence of the showtime Lakers.

I missed the last game due to the late start, now an 8 start is making it too long without Rockets basketball. Lets start this already.

You do realize Dekker stomped that team real bad last time despite being repeatedly UFC'd to the temple, face, neck, and chest.

Grizzlies coach David Fizdale lobbied for Zach Randolph to receive Sixth Man of the Year consideration before Memphis faced the Rockets, who feature two candidates in Eric Gordon and Lou Williams. "They have two guys that's super dynamic that's as deserving," Fizdale said. "I think we've got a heck of a race going for that, but those guys don't rebound like mine, I'll tell you that much. My guy's a double-double machine, and he's evolved. He's shooting 3s. He's doing so many other things that he hasn't done. And I'm biased. I want ZBo to win it. He made this move for me without making a fuss, and so who would I root for more than this guy as a coach? You come in and make moves like this and guys can rebel on you, but he's probably been the most stable, the most consistent dealing with the role change out of all of the guys. I think he's deserving and I hope that we can continue to put him in position to at least be considered."

34 minutes to tip off and the stadiumis a ghost town. Especially on the sidelines.
