All of those things are in the past. He reboundED and playED good defense. Roy Hibbert showed us that you can go from DPOY candidate to nobody really quick. And Roy was still playing NBA ball not sitting on his couch getting high. Sanders had his workout and no one was impressed. All I'm saying is that you don't have to sign him to know if he's still good. Find out first and then sign him.
What does this have to do with basketball though???? Sounds like a personal vendetta. Be like Jesus forgive and forget. Its a lot healthier.
http://cavaliersnation.com/2017/03/03/larry-sanders-takes-shot-at-cavs-signing-of-andrew-bogut/ Looks like sanders is pissed that the cavs didn't sign him.
if anything, i think sanders has not signed with houston yet bc DM will only commit to a team friendly deal (multiple non-guaranteed seasons) and sanders wants be a free agent this summer when the cap increases again
That's terrible he has to publicly hate on another player for no valid reason. Not a good look at all for someone with problems and trying to get back in the league. He has no one to blame but himself for the position he is in now.
There may be truth to this. Rockets probably don't have a ton of faith that Sanders is THE difference this year, but perhaps can help some and then hopefully get into full basketball shape next year and be a valuable asset. If they have interest, they probably want deal similar to what they gave Beasley. Minimum for rest of this season plus a team option for next year.
maybe he never wanted to sign with the cavs and is just making fun of the cavs and bogut? that's what a stoner would do.
I would bet my house that this is what Morey would demand. "If we're going to assume the risk of letting you back into the NBA - bringing you into a title contending clubhouse with good chemistry - then we're going to get something out of it." No way they let him play his way back into shape at the bottom of our rotation just to see him chase some huge contract at the end of the off season. And from Sanders' point of view, i guarantee that seeing some of these insane contracts big men are getting had his friends saying "Damn man - i wonder what you would've made". So he wants the shortest route to FA possible.
LOL do people seriously think Sanders has a weed addiction? You can't get addicted to weed... period.
I hate to say this, but it take another injury to one of our bigs for morey to take a flier on sanders. i don't wish injury on any of our bigs, but morey will only take a chance on sanders if one of our bigs gets hurt.
Morey is afraid to sign anyone that will cause locker room problems after what happened last season. Sanders may be a quality player before he quit his job but he still had a lot of mental barriers. At this point, you'd probably see Onuaka over Sanders if one of our big goes down. Also, Montrezl can play quality backup big minutes.
That doesn't mean he's addicted. Ben could have retired because he wanted to spend his time writing poetry ... wouldn't mean he's physically addicted to poetry. That said there is a mental addiction to it which he clearly had. Where as an NBA player you'd hope he was mentally addicted to playing basketball.
He good now. They finna make that **** legal soon... http://www.houstonchronicle.com/new...r1juana-diversion-program-starts-10970454.php
Why sign another player just like Capela (who would undoubtedly be much worse and out of shape) when you can play Capela 10 more minutes a game himself? 33 mins for a 22 year old is not asking too much.
