Deep down I do not think anyone who was or has been a fan of this team wants them to lose.

It depends. Sometimes losing reveals problems and they can be fixed while a couple of sunshine wins can cover serious problems.

Winning cures but not everything.

 

I blame it on rap music.

I watch the Rockets from Dubai. I would much rather watch the game at 10/11am than 3/4am...

Best game - watching the Rockets come back to beat LAC to keep em in the playoffs.
Worst game, watching the Spurs come back and beat the Rockets in the last 5 minutes this year -_- or really everytime the Rockets blow the game in the 4th. Pacers...Hawks....losing sleep for no reason is the worst.

 

I don't really understand what's going on but if @DonKnock is pissed then so am I. Toss hands now ask questions later.

Yeah, I know the thoughtfulness actually wasnt worth the effort. Someone replied that I "need a Snickers". Because somehow being thorough with sincerity is bad lol. Doing that is ok when explaining stats & technical things, but when its aimed at particular people's WAYS, the defenses & attacks come up.

Whatever. On the new Ignore feature, I DONT see a TRACE of anyone on it. So I wouldnt even know if there's a reply anyway. (Don't even see when someone quotes them, only ASSUME its about certain people). So post is not really aimed AT them cuz I know they dont give a sh**. Its for OTHERS to not get caught up in it. AND yeah to SUPPORT ALL FANS, even the CASUAL ones.

--- Honestly....A CREDIT to Tinman. He created a Ringleader / WWE Wrestling style entertainment niche. He found a way to make "Cheap Heat", create "good guys" & "heals", storylines, all that just, on a basketball forum about Rockets. Its almost on an Andy Kaufman type performance artist level the length of time its gone on to not break "kayfabe"! And I'm serious

But why I get upset is I actually do SHARE MANY COMMON INTERESTS with him. I was there for the SAME things, I and others WERE IMPACTED just AS A MUCH. But he MISREPRESENTS it SO MUCH lol. Its well BEYOND just "basketball interest". He wants HIS version to be the standard -- though its MANY versions MANY experiences.

This dude is just trying to channel into some Tupac / Bobby Brown bad boy "rude man" figure .... aligning himself as that SAME kind of REBEL / PROVOCATEUR ... but to borrow from that same "urbanization", its he "AINT ABOUT that LIFE" and he's "Doing TOO Much". Its straight FALSIFYING the period only showing a NARROW slice. It doesnt matter if the whole thing is just some vanity project - with such EGREGIOUS bad INAUTHENTIC representation of the interests, its irony that he'd call ANYONE out for THEIR "inconsistency". SO NOBODY DESERVES THEIR FANHOOD QUESTIONED by someone in their own questionably accurated, warped thug fantasy land.
