John Lopez is pretty convinced that we won't be re-signing Bouye, so it'll be interesting to see which hack is right on this one.
Well, to be fair, they are in Indy, and I'm sure that place is bugged. They don't want to get hit with any tampering penalties.
Cause he knew he didnt want the game in crocks arm/hands. Still shouldve utilized Grimes/Hunt more IMO.
Salary cap set at 167...the Texans spent 148 last season. With some player waivers, the Texans can easily be about 35 million under the cap. No reason not to get a QB and resign Bouye.
You all do realize the players also know the salary cap went up and will instruct their agents to adjust their negotiations accordingly.
So hard to parse through all the BS spewing out of OB's mouth. Love the guy's passion and swag, and I don't doubt that he is a football prodigy to an extent, but he just bullshits us so much, and that clock management...
Sure, but the standard has basically been set by previous contracts. Either teams will overspend a ton, like the Jaguars for Malik Jackson... Or players will get what they deserve in comparison to their colleagues. Romo isn't all of a sudden going to demand 25 million instead of 17 million bc of the cap.
