The black uniforms are awesome. Not just the color and design but also the "jersey CUT". Looks more streamlined. A sharper V in the neck area and thinner shoulders. They need to wear these as much as possible.
The Rockets home and road uniforms should get the style design of the black uniforms. For god's sake please do this, Les!
I don't know man. Nike's college bball is awful. Their NFL is even worse. Funny how majority have hated on Adidas designs over the years, but they decided to focus on their shoes and now Adidas is killing the shoe game. I still have hope Nike will be better than Adidas uniform designs, but still more of the same trying to create new trends that end up being horrible. Nothing has gone right since the mid-90s when brand designs started experimenting looking for the new trend. Out of it came gigantic cartoon logos, then came garbage bag baggy uniforms, then came navy blue and dark colors for every team, now it's black and trying too hard to modernize retro logos. The Kings knocked the logo out of the park by not trying to do too much but ended up with horrible uniforms. The Bucks are probably the best overall change so far, but even they have a lot I would change and I fear will look outdated in 10 years. They should just let ProjectThirtyFour handle all of the logos and uniforms Red/Gold/White for home and Blue and Red for alternate
I have a theory that the checker board rocket pattern is gonna be the complete new look when Nike takes over. The gray design will have to become a sleeveless design since Nike isnt doing sleeves and it has the checkerboard pattern. The black was also has the checkerboard pattern and I think that uni design will be the template for the new home and away jerseys. Instead of the arched Rocket designs on the uniforms I think all of the primary uniforms will have the new rocket pattern.
Sigh... I just wish our whites had mustard on them..... and change the trim and look, and font, and, well, everything.
