No they are just on a steep decline. Paul is not the same, Griffin just dose not have the mental makeup of a superstar and Jordan without Paul ally oops is what we saw last night on offense. Terrible. Paul was the engine of that team and right now he is not humming anymore like he used to due to injuries and wear and tear.

LOL. Yes, the league's assist leaders' passes are 'no threat at all'.
CAN'T be the reason Rockets are #3 in the West and he LEADS THE LEAGUE IN ASSISTS.

Sort of like saying Tom Brady's passes are no threat at all. Or Matt Ryans' passes
are no threat because they don't scramble in the pocket enough. smh. . ..

I don't know. Something doesn't look right with that bunch since the All-Star break. They're 1-3 and that lone win was an overtime victory at home over the Hornets. Maybe the injuries to their 2 stars, the trade rumors surrounding Griffin, and the prospect of this being their last shot has taken too great a toll.

I have to admit I was a little upset with Harden the first half of the game. I thought he looked slow and out of it. Then the 3rd qtr came and wow, we showed our potential. I just hope that the guys can start finding their rhythm with their shooting. Its hot and very cold, hardly any middle ground. That's kind of amazing with multiple shooters on the team. I thought we would get the 3 pt record last night then EVERYBODY went cold again. I know its a long grind of a season so maybe they are just at the point of going through the motions to get the regular season over. They still need to finish strong these next 5 games vs top teams so I guess we will see.

All I'm saying is that the Clippers have another gear that they didn't show last night and certainly have not shown in a while. They are going to beat the Jazz in the Playoffs. They would be a very difficult team for the Rockets/Spurs to face. The Warriors will still beat them down but that's nothing new.

No they don't. They don't have a legit wing scorer or any legit wing player all together. Their bench is terrible and if Paul is not on, they have no one who can run their offense. They are not going anywhere.

Houston has beaten the Warriors in Golden state, Spurs in San Antonio and blew a 13 point lead with just over 3 minutes in Houston and now beat the Clippers down to a pulp in front of the world to see. Those were the top 3 teams predicted by many. Not bad for a team that most so called pundits picked to miss the playoffs.

Clippers should have kept going to Jamal Crawford. What happened to him? He was hot then Doc benched him. It seemed they hardly went to him the rest of the game.

His boy Austin seems to dominate the majority of the minutes behind Paul and JJ Redick. .Granted Austin actually played ok for once.

I think this is a bigger issue in the future. As the leader, Harden can't continue to have these dry spells where he commits stupid turnovers and plays lazy. We can get away with it against the lower level teams on most nights, but he can't be playing like that against the better teams. Some of these turnovers are basic plays anybody should be able to make. I can tolerate his shot being off but his lazy play really puts us at a disadvantage at times

Blake Griffin/Chris Paul are both Alpha in the sense that they both feel they run things and that's always been an underlying problem...big reason why Jordan almost bolted for the Mavs to start with

I think it's becoming pretty clear that we are a superior team away from Toyota Center. It's good news in that I really think we have a shot at upsetting the Warriors and Spurs, but that would first require escape the 1st round where we don't have road court advantage.

Right now we'd face Memphis and they've already beaten us at home, while we've blown them out on the road.
