I think is they are blowing out teams they need to make it a inside game to see by how many points we can beat them by. If 35 is our record go for 40, if 40 becomes standard go for 45 and so on. Play a game within the game to keep engaged. Tonight was a great night but trust me we will go ice cold soon. I hope we don't but it happens. Clippers just aren't a cohesive team in my opinion. They lack the chemistry. They blow teams out with talent but when they face teams like Rockets or GSW they fall apart. It takes someone bench hero to save them. In reality Jordan should have had a field day not being out rebounded by Beverly. That team is all hype.
Even after the game ended I still felt like there was a chance we would blow the lead. Hope we can start consistently winning the games we are supposed to like we did earlier in the season. Rockets have a chance at breaking the Rockets franchise record this season if they do so. If we only loose against teams with higher winning %'s for the remaining 20 games of the season we will go 16-4 giving us 59 wins. Personally see 55 wins but would love to break the record.
Rockets need to expend more effort defensively and let Harden do the work offensively. This team will do what they did tonight more often than not. These 3 pt looks are wide open. They just need to make them.
It's interesting that our recent games where we blow up the other team and go up by 30+ points are on the road. I don't think it's a coincidence. On the flip side, we seem relax in front of our home crowd and let the other team come back at home. It's happened over and over again. Maybe the road environment prevents any sort of mental relaxation and complacency?
Not a boring win at all. The 30 pt lead dwindled to below 20 in the 4th quarter. Exciting! And yes, keep Harden in the game. Who wants a wuss like Curry who hardly played more than 30 mpg because his team keeps blowing out the opponents before the 3rd quarter ended.

Meh, 30 point leads are ok, if you are in to that sort of thing. I saw a 31 point lead once though. It changed my life.
