People said the about Lou Williams, not being a team player. Your points are drooping bad. Using your argument against you, Lance only expected to provide emergency minutes at end of bench. Why not sign the younger, more talented, more skill diverse, better defender, better creator and scorer with upside to boot? Unless you have some secret crush on Barnes not sure why you're so determined to see bottom of your privy type player like Barnes.

Watch out or he'll choke you out too girl.

Nobody said that about Lou Williams. That's false. Way to make that up. A 6th man of the year is no loser like LS

Argument doesn't apply. LS sucks because he isn't a team player. Thinks he's better that what he really is. Horrible for a team that has great chemistry.

Barnes would come in and be the glue, enforcer guy we need, I have no doubt about that. Even if it is in limited minutes. He'd be our Chris Andersen.

After last year we should all know how important chemistry is to team success. Barnes is about as likely to contribute on the court as he is to start a fist fight with someone in the locker room. He's just a terrible person; ask Fisher or Harden's mom. Do not want.

I'm starting to feel sorry for how wrong you always are. Let the education begin, and count yourself lucky you didn't call me a liar to my face jackwad.

Thought so, means KD injury is fairly serious.

Rockets signed Isaiah Taylor so obviously their priorities and yours aren't aligned. Besides with Jamaal Franklin's improved trey he has become a true 5 tool player - shoot, handle, pass, rebound, finish. Above rim athleticism and sticky D combined with his length (6'6) and wingspan (7 ft) make him menace in passing lanes and close outs.

Can we just consider how fortunate GSW is? If KD had gone down 48 hours later, they would already have signed Calderon and would have been relegated to (1) waiving him and searching the scrap heap to find a wing (I'm presuming someone else would have signed Barnes), (2) or sucking it up and keeping Calderon, despite a more pressing need. An injury to your best player is crap luck, but what timing.

I think Jsmoove has merit particularly in situational plays and spot minutes e.g. rim protection, switches and play-making from the 4 spot. His shooting is hot and cold just like Ariza. He'd fit right in.

For me it's a hell no to both those guys. Josh Smith is not a good rebounder, and what he brings in defense we lose on offense because picking a good shot seems to be so hard for this dude + he's a poor FT shooter + he's a poor 3pt shooter. There is no point bringing in a defender if they are going to be a negative on offense and not move the need on rebounding.

Barnes I don't think the team would be ok with.

I just want someone who can shoot 35% on 3's and guard a wing scorer for 10 minutes a night and not require their ego to be massaged.

If we can get a big who can defend well and rebound well and not be an offensive liability, then let's get that person too. If they can't do all those things, then do not f*ck with the chemistry, let's give Harrell and Capela as many minutes as possible in anticipation of the playoffs. There is no one on the market who can do that except Sanders and I don't think the team wants to mess with him.

    Please don't compare Smith's shooting to Ariza's.

Josh Smith has hit 28.5% of 1,578 (total) or 1.8 (average) 3pt attempts in his NBA career.
Trevor Ariza has hit 35.2% of 3,139 (total) or 3.7 (average) 3pt attempts in his NBA career.

Right now Ariza is having a terrible season hitting 35% of 7.1 attempts. It is a better shooting season than every single one of Josh Smith's 13 NBA seasons.

    These are not comparable.

an article means nothing. I guess since your opinion is of little value you have to read something and think it's completely valid lol. ohh internet tough guy. cool guy over here watch out guys. "jackwad" lmao

when you have to try and post away from actual basketball, pretty much means you can't be taken seriously. pretty funny actually. Also when you have to like your own posts because nobody else does is hilarious as well:rolleyes:

Warriors have team ties to Barnes.

Would be like us bringing back Scola.
