Harden needs to be better

This literally happens everyday in the game thread.

I guess it's also unfair to criticize Harden on his streaky shooting, turnovers, and defense since Harden is famous for not having those flaws. How dare they, smh.

 

What do you think happens in the game thread when Harden makes a shot or assist? Talk about spamming.

You are no vocal critic of Harden so stop pretending like one. If you have no problem with posters who are 99% positive towards Harden, then you also shouldn't have issue with those who are 99% negative. If anything, they cancel each other out so we need both of them to remain somewhat objective on Harden. As long as their opinions are based on facts, it doesn't matter what their general stance on Harden is. It's true that Harden and the Rockets have been very good this season, but it's also true that Harden seriously needs to address some of his flaws before it's too late. Those two opinions are not mutually exclusive.

 

Who are you talking to? You're fighting an argument that just isn't there and completely putting words in my mouth to try and make your point. I mentioned one person, Joomba. I never mentioned basketballholic. The latter has said in this thread that he thinks Harden is a great player. He criticizes him but he seems to respect him. Wouldn't say he's a hater.

I never said anything at all about positive posts outweighing negative posts making you a hater. At this point I don't know if you're talking to me or to someone else. You're so worked up that you're choosing to read what you want.

 

This is 100% correct. It's not about criticism it is about the presentation of what you're saying. If you don't get that, than there's nothing else to say.

 

Who are you talking to? You still haven't mentioned anyone who you consider to be a legitimate critic who are generally critical towards Harden. By this I mean 7:3 ratio or more with 7 being negative. Name me one guy.

 

Haven't read through the entire thread yet but sounds like once again people can't help themselves from lining up for the crow that Harden will undoubtably serve them.

 

Stfu Harden hater, if u hate our star so much go watch Westbrook and ride his dick. Nitpicking our star playstyles is just r****ded, especially if that's all u do on this forum. Without harden our team won't be 3rd seed, be thankful that our organization isn't like the Kings.

As for Harden, anyone think the dude is taxed? I think he should set up the offense, but let someone else dribble past half court.

Also defensively, it wouldn't be so bad to zone it sometimes. Also, we really need to get on Eric Gordon. He's a much more capable defender than he's led on to be. I've seen him play, at times, stellar one on one defense. I'd like to see more of that every now and then.

Fans like u shouldn't even be considered Rockets fan, if all u do is just attack the star player regardless of outcome. Constantly btching about the little things. More like a stalker that likes to complain and moan. No one says u can't btch and moan, but if that's all u do, it gets pretty annoying.

Once again, my messages about u shouldn't be base on what the majority think of as a whole. I do not claim to be clutchfans representative. All im saying is if all u can do is btch about harden all day everyday, then maybe u should find another fan website and another player where u can truly enjoy the sport. Not saying u have to ride harden's dick, that gets annoying also.

 

On the other hand, there are people who does nothing BUT praise Harden. The question is, why don't you get annoyed by them equally? Obviously the answer is you have an emotional attachment to Harden. You are obviously biased in your view, so what makes your opinion on Harden correct?

Asking such a dumb question, if someone compliments u a sht ton vs someone btching about u a sht ton, they both annoyed u equally? Nothing in life is equal/fair, I for one get annoyed about a newbie fan joining to just btch repeatedly about the same thing about Harden over and over.

U should just watch the game and criticize everyone as a team. A fan that b****es about a player as his sole purpose in clutchfan, is he really enjoying it?

 

I think the only facts that needs to be considered is that no player, no matter how good they are, is perfect and no player plays the exact same level of play the entire season, their are peaks and valleys.

So for the people who do understand these facts it gets ****ing annoying to hear b**** about the little things non stop when the bigger picture is if you are trying to win basketball games it's hard to do better than Harden, flaws and all.

Harden is not me. Harden is not you. But you take compliments and criticisms about Harden personally. That just proves your bias and that you are emotionally attached to Harden. I'm just counteracting those people who does nothing BUT praise Harden. How many times do I have to say this? As long as those people exist, vocal critics of Harden also have to exit to remain somewhat objective on Harden.
