    Three guard lineup Final Stats

First half: Indiana never matched up keeping 2 bigs and a SF on the court, but rarely had Miles Turner out there
2nd half: Matched with Ellis, Teague, Stuckey in 3rd Q, but likely due to George foul trouble. IND goes regular lineup vs our 3 guards rest of way. (Side Note: IND did attack with 3 guards twice in 2nd half when we had our normal lineup in.)

    22:00 minutes
    -14 +/-

fwiw: Until the 3pter by CJ Miles with 40 seconds left and subsequent desperation fouling by Rockets, it was
    21:30 minutes
    -7 +/-

    Breakdown
    1Q
    -2 -- 4:30 minutes Harden + Smoy Brothers
    2Q
    +0 -- 5:00 minutes Bev + Smoy brothers
    -7 -- 2:45 minutes Harden + Smoy bros
    3Q
-5 -- 3:30 minutes Harden + Smoy bros (matched vs Ellis, Teague and Stuckey) George out with foul trouble
    4Q
+0 -- 4:00 Minutes Bev + Smoy bros (vs IND's second unit Ellis, Stuckey, Robinson, Allen Christmas), George out and Turner out
-3 -- 2:30 minutes Harden, Bev, Lou (IND in normal lineup George, Teague, Ellis, Turner, Allen)
+3 -- 3:30 minutes Harden, Bev, Lou (George returns with 3:15 left. IND in regular lineup to close game)

fwiw: Until the 3pter by CJ Miles with 40 seconds left and subsequent desperation fouling by Rockets, it was
+10 3:00 minutes Harden, Bev, Lou (so it did cut the lead from 12 to 2 with 40 seconds left)

Thank you for being reasonable... that's pretty much the story all season. But GARM and game threads are filled with a bunch of knee-jerkers after a loss. Not sure why everyone is so surprised when we're like 60 games in.

So every team we've played have been below .500?

The reason this team is a contender is because they can get hot and beat any team. No, they don't have the rebounding, or bigs, or defense...we've always known that. We can't fix that this year...but there is no reason to act like this is some scrub team.

Pacers played hard, were desperate, played a bit over their heads...it happens.

I mean watching this game, especially in the 2nd quarter, we just couldn't keep them out of the paint.

They were waltzing their way in to the paint for easy look baskets. When we stopped them in the lane with a good rotation, they made the easy pass to another wide open player in the paint.

It's not so much we need a defensive big at the rim. It's also we need better rotations and switches on the perimeter. I think often times we will let them drive after a screen because we try to force them into a long 2.

Tonight tho we couldn't rotate properly to force them into more mid-range and instead yielded a high amount of paint points. That does have to do with a defensive big who knows where to rotate tho.

But Ehh, when we shoot poorly we lose. That's always been the common denominator. I was upset at first for losing but I'm glad the guys didn't quit and gave a valiant effort trying to rally.

He's extremely streaky, but probably an average shooter overall. Certainly doesn't deserve to take 9 threes in a game.

You need to temper you're expectations on a 35 year old center who is injury prone. He did as well as he can.

I don't think its crazy to say that teams like the Pacers, Grizzlies, Jazz, Hawks, Heat are simply bad matchups for the Rockets. They're longer, bigger and stronger. I'm amazed the Rockets had a chance to win tonight at the end of the game considering how bad we were shooting and how much we were getting pushed around.

Next test, a healthy Clippers team. Let's see if we can smoke these guys.

7 games we won were mostly against sub 500 teams. You mentioned the 7-3 record

There was once was time recently (Tracy/Yao/Martin ERA) Rocketede the East while Subpar vs West. Opposable now which should equal 2nd Round, 7 games minimum.

We get that. It's letting a mediocre team clown you at home for a sweep after dogging you once on the road already that shows our superstar lacks heart. Miami. Pacers. Hawks.

It's okay to lose, but not when, where, and how we've been losing. This doesn't bode well for the postseason, despite our success this year.

Wow, knee jerk. Nope, just piss poor shooting and defense for the last 5 games. Harden was shooting 50% in the beginning of the season and now 43%. This frustration is over due.

Why couldn't MDA play Gordon instead of Ariza in the end? We needed offense and Ariza is an offensive liability.

Then the coach needs to reduce his minutes or play him in situations where he can use the skills he's aqccuired to help us .

I agree , nene did some good things tonight . But overall I didn't feel that he was one of our better players . He can do better , but it will largely depend on the role he's asked to play .

He can't be a one man rebounding crew anymore . So while I don't expect him to do that , if he's put in a position where he's asked to secure the defensive glass and can't ... Then I'm not going to ignore that when evaluating how he played.

Way to waste a 10 turnover game (Total Team TOs)

And since when is Capela trying to be team leader in TOs.

What I don't get is people praise super stars for being able to produce when their "game" isn't working but when you suggest a team do the same thing as a whole you get told it is stupid for not sticking to the game plan.
