ClutchFans Game Thread: Pacers @ Rockets 2/27/2017

As pissed as I am at how the rockets are playing ... The belief that Larry ****ing sanders is going to help us is almost funny enough to put me in a good move .

We have the talent on our team , it's up to coach to find a way to make it work . The ease with which both our starters and our reserves can dominate hints at our potential .

Takin Clint out was a BAD move . Playing 3 guard with harden could be a bad idea , so far EJ , lou , and James are not meshing . However the 3 guard bench works well ... Given they have Clint and Dekker in there .

We have lineups that work , right now I hope coach is just experimenting because he's playing lineups that DONT work.

 

I have no idea what two words those are supposed to be.

the pacers don't really have any energy and have missed a lot of easy shots (while also having a few lucky possessions where they bobbled it all over the place and still scored). so it says something that we're down to them. not sure if they defense was worse or maybe the offense. outside of harden banking in a 3, it felt like we didn't make a semi-tough shot the whole half and missed plenty of open jumpers.

 

Won't win with this rebounding. Just pathetic.

 

why did capela get yanked? he is +19 on the court...

 

he's been horrible in the clutch

 

We gotta address the three position in the offseason.

 

Harden shot 3-17 last time he played Indiana as well...

Technically still possible.

I can't remember the last time Harden didn't play like garbage in the first half.

 

We are settling for too many 3 pointers. I understand our philosophy but we need Harden and Lou to continually penetrate which may generate better looks outside the arc or dunks.

 

Can't have the rebounding issues AND below average shooting.

 

Hardens shot is broke and this team doesn't give a **** about defense a full game.

 

Cuz Capela can't play over 25 min a game. He seriously has the worst conditioning when it comes to game play. Plays in spurts.

 

Will need to get their D in order. Being out rebounded is becoming a constant lately. Don't know what can be done but the effort is lacking. Need to gang rebound in the second half.

Also...this broadcast crew is the worst I have ever heard. Does TNT think it will actually get more viewers? Hell, Lisa Leslie called the Dream, "Akeem." Is she stuck in the 1980s?

 

Morey perhaps think we dont need rebounds or defense and we only need 3pt...SMH.

 

I agree on the Capela front. He was playing with a lot of energy and rebounding well.
