    And compare that to Minny, and how they keep letting Rubio block all trade offers, so he can complete his mission as franchise player....I mean, Morey was pushing Beverley hard on them.

    General Managers vote on the award, so you know what that means. He finished seventh in '15.

    It's very difficult for the GM to be on the same page with the new coach so quickly, if at all. Yet they did it. I'd vote.

    You forgot defensive player of the year: James Harden and Ryan Anderson should be way up there near the top of the list

    That might be expecting too much. But I bet Harden would be one of the few players to ever win MVP one year without being name to any All-NBA teams the previous year, so that's a pretty good argument for MIP
