Exactly. So many lapses, just no effort to stop the other team from rebounding, no boxing out of any kind, lazy passes, forced turnovers by mainly Harden etc. Also what was up with that non-effort on the dunk by Wiggins in the 1st quarter, I knew by that play that at least Harden was not going to care about putting in effort. A lot of people will say we scored 142, 22 threes, relax and what not, but at some point the non-effort and unfocused play for several stretches within the game is going to cost us big time. We are scary good, which is why it matters even more to play pedal to the metal for full 48 minutes. Loved Beverley, Dekker, Capela & Nene in this game. Lou was great off the dribble, created some nice plays and man he's quick with the three. Ryno needs to cut those long range ones where you can see him lean in because HE KNOWS he's too far out. Let's hope they will at some point learn from their bad defense. They need to play their A game in the next ones, because there's some stiff competition coming.

 

Not a top notch defense but man I love it when we have 7-8 players in double figures.
Its very hard to lose like that.

Im fine with them not giving everything in the reg. Season because we probably won't catch the spurs. They're too good to lose enough to catch up. As long as we keep the 3rd spot and we save some energy while doing that and we're still winning, im fine, because it will help in the playoffs.

 

Did anybody else enjoy Bev shoving RR? He looked straight up scared.

142 pts feels like a mini allstar game.

 

I agree 100% and I'm a season ticket holder in club and it pissed me off that the great fans in The 400s can't come fill up the seats by me. I love my seats and a few of the people that sit next to me are very nice but majority of the fans don't show and if they do there drinking at the bar. I can't be the only one near me yelling a screaming I need some help from the real fans.

 

We all need you guys.
I think some of the fans don't realize how much it gives to the team and helping them win. And all of us from around the world that love the team but can't go to the games forget to thank the real fans that show up and push the team that brightens our mornings.
So thank you guys for making the effort, paying for the tickets and showing up to games. You're a big part of the team's success.

 

Defensive rebounding has been an issue for years but this season because of our powerful high octaine offense it has been masked.

 

upmost disrespect towards opponents...how come somebody from the puppies hasnt hard fouled immediately?

 

The last missing peice is a Big 4 who can rebound and play D. Doesn't even have to shoot threes. Just someone to can grab a dam rebound and box out

Truthfully our defense is surprisingly good! The reason we got mauled on the rebounds is because guys rotated to the shooters... and which brings me to Capela!

I talked about this before and his prime , does his ceiling include a rebounding machine? I don't honestly see it and while we obviously let him grow we can't expect to go into the playoffs with him as the main defender! I wish Harrel was his height lol

Rockets are 2-0 and averaging about 135 points a game since Brewer left.

Brew was really detrimental to our already high octane offense. Watch it take off further now

The Rockets have enough shooters and scoring but now if they want to be a complete team, they need a tall, physical guy who can rebound and play some mean defense, then MAYBE, they COULD be possible contenders.
