    Wanted more value for Bev.

Here's the other factor. Once the season starts and guys are in the trenches together, emotion sets in with them. And that's exactly the case with Bev. Shop him all off season. Let teams know he's available for the right price. Don't get deal done. Go into the season. Now all of a sudden he's lining up next to Harden and dogging out. Doh! And he's nailing 3's better than ever and he's Hardens Robin in the locker room. Now it's more difficult for Harden to detach. They all know that Harden checks off on personnel moves. Bev is looking him in the eye every day asking him if he's still his wolverine. LOL, Bev is very good at psychology, both in his own locker room and huddle and against his opponent. Very strong minded. He has that psychological trait like a superstar. And best of all......They winning a bunch of games. Price goes up. He becomes untouchable except for a serious upgrade. Not going to move him for Noel. Too important.

Time changes things. For instance the Paul George trade talks with the Celts. Bird turned down a great offer including the Nets pick. Why? I don't know. But he did. I guarantee you after the season he'll try to reconstitute interest with Ainge. But Ainge may not put that deal back on the table. If the Celts win the lottery he probably won't. But Bird would probably take a little less for George if he knew he was getting the number one pick and could pick his guy. So even two or three months changes things.

And this also happened. When MDA got here Bev was not his guy. He wanted something else. He wanted a Lou Will at the 1. He didn't think Bev was good enough offensively. But once they got to camp and he got to know Bev and then Bev executed his offense well then he decided Bev was acceptable.

So at the deadline we were chasing much bigger fish and watching what happened with other pursuits. We were offering Bev but it was a much bigger deal than Noel. And that deal may reconstitute itself this off season.

You weren't the first to post that. And even when it posted, which was when his rumors of physicals were happening; like you, it didn't strike me the SB was that week, until someone pointed it out. I was more interested in the meaning of the emoji though.

I just wanted to curb speculation again wrt the tweet. Somewhere Feigen even had to reference it by saying he could confirm Sanders was not in town to go to TC or get a physical. He never met with the Rockets.

Yeah, I saw that on Thursday as well. It's a Cavs Nation "article" that sources one premature Tweet from a Huffington Post columnist that was Tweeted before it was even determined he could return to the Warriors.

Until a reputable sports writer says he's going to Cleveland, let's pump the brakes on this. Every major NBA media source still seems to be of the opinion that the Rockets are a serious contender for his services.

I just don't see Andrew as having the right chemistry fit here. 7 foot 260 I'll take that but if he denied us once h Does not want to be here

I think I'd take Jared Sullinger (if he's healthy). He's been a winner his whole career and would give us size that we don't have. He's added a pretty nice 3 to his game. He's a solid help defender. . . Maybe a poor man's Diaw, for now. But if he got in the right role, he would flourish.

I don't think Bogut can get over the personalities and rivalries (or if we can).
I haven't seen Terrence's highlights. Has he improved as a team defender? He's certainly a plus rebounder.

Sully should be a consideration as a 5. He is underrated defensively when he is in the pivot. Most of his bad defensive rep comes from him and his fat butt trying to defend 4's. Sully is a center in our system. Not the perfect fit because he doesn't get up and down fast enough. But.....He would be very, very handy if we if we got locked up in a half court battle because he has every offensive tool including great vision, the ability to operate high post as well as low post and he can read the defense for pick and pop and pick and roll action. He's a very good offensive player. And if he plays the 5 defensively he's a lot better than he's given credit for.

Of course, Sully's Achilles heel is his conditioning. He's costed himself tens of millions of dollars by being stupid about his conditioning.

He's worth a look. Minimum salary signing.

It would be nice to not be killed on the glass in certain obvious matchups. Also if we go real small and try to play 4 guards, I don't think Anderson can slide over. Sullinger would really fit in that kind of slot. You could put him in the post every once in a while or let him be in the PnR mix. . . Draymond would have to exert a little more effort to push him out of the way, and Sullinger won't back down.

I think he's been running the court better in the last two years. He's got a little more quickness than Nene or at least the same. Sullinger needs a coach who knows how to use him.

I agree with you since this is highly doable. Josh Smith is done and Bogut talked crap about Houston when he chose Dallas over us.

Should we look at Jordan McRae after he gets cut for Bogut?
