Are we really going to criticize a guy who quitted the Mavs?
    lul

So, he's basically out till the regular season ends...maybe we'll pick him up if we miss on other guys...

Bogut, Casspi, GPII would be a good way to set the roster for the playoffs, i would like a more defensive minded 3 instead of Omri but well, you can't get anything you want i suppose...

Casspi is a guy who has ability to get hot and can hang with Curry in a 3 point duel. Nice 3/4. Would not be opposed to using 1 spot for him.

Yeah we got to get Casspi now that I think about it. We are too thin at SF. This is a gift move by the Pels. Hope Morey takes advantage of it.

Jared Sullinger was waived. That's my favorite to sign. He's probably going to come cheap because he needs to prove himself for a contract next year. He's been off, but he was good prior to this year in Toronto.

Casspi was a stretch 4 under McHale, undoubtedly a stretch 4 with D'Antoni too. So who sits? Dekker?

Pelicans have some bad juju; where players go to get injured?

First game, Casspi gets injured & waive
Stephenson earlier this season signs a 10-day, gets injured & waived.
Gordon, Davis & Anderson in the past.

    Pelicans stay injured.

And the guys they don't want like Omer Asik, Alexis Ajinca - healthy as can be, sitting on the bench. :D

Yeah, i'd take a flyer on him too, he was in great shape (finally) for the start of the season and he got injured...not sure if he got fat again, but he's a 4/5 with a Chuck Hayes ass, decent/good rebounder, he has some range...if Bogut is not coming (which is what i think) maybe Sullinger is a decent/good backup plan...

No need more defense in the front court out of necessity in the playoffs beyond that a wing defender who can sub in and out on certain possessions.

Bogut is the best case scenario

Looks more likely that he doesn't want to come Houston and there's some kind of cap space problem altogether due to the conditions of his buyout and contract.

I'd just bring back big butt Chucky Hayes and Brian Cook and call it a day

    Keep collecting them pay checks

I think Casspi's shooting is more reliable than Dekker and he has been a 3 over most of his career. Plus he is a vet and Dekker is basically a rookie. I think his experience would be valuable.

We have 2 roster spots and money so I don't see much downside. Plus I don't think we are going to land Bogut.

Nice, we could just flat out pick Casspi up off the waivers with our cash if we wanted. Although I would rather pick him up for the min after making a bigger signing first (Bogut) if possible.

Bogut and Casspi would be amazing for our final two roster spots.

If Morey cant get Bogut, Blache would be a good pickup. Good rebounder with length who can hit the 3.

Haven't seen Blatche play in yrs. Where's he been playing and how does he look?

China. Dominant there. But a very low character guy.

Need to sign casspi right after he clears waivers. Y'all seen his threes last night? Didn't even touch the net.

He is hurt but who cares, we can let someone who fits so well go to another team especially on the cheap.

    Getter done, mowrey.

I was just joking about Blatche, his defensive awareness was pretty awful accordingly to every team he played for.

I recently went through every free agent center that isn't Bogut. The most intriguing ones were Blatche, Beamont's own K. Perkins! And Chris Kaman,

I'm more interested to see what type of center the Rockets want.

Or maybe we just get on the Chu-Chu train. he did have a double double the other day
