It's not the dislike. It's not even his off court drama. He went over the line by disrespecting one of our players' mothers, and our best player none the less. Our team chemistry is better than it has been in quite some time; do you really think it's fair for us to even ask Harden to forget this. He says no he'll be seen as selfish. He says yes and doesn't want to that can disrupt a few things. I get trash talking and all but if a guy takes that cheap of a shot I wouldn't forget. I don't have to hold a grudge forever but I sure as hell wouldn't hang out with someone like that either. It's a little more that making a Harden meme about his defence like Ty did. Also, let's not get it twisted, we may need a back up SF, he may be a veteran, but his cheap tactics sure as hell weren't good enough to help the Clips from blowing a 3-1 lead against us. He's not the last piece to a championship.
I'm not sure if someone posted this already, but Cavs and Rockets both want Bogut. Out of all contenders, Rockets have the most cap space to use right now. I'm sure all Rockets fans hate Bogut, but his defense is needed. Capela, Nene, and Harrell have been great offensively, but going up against Gobert, DeAndre Jordan, and even Marc Gasol is scary without having someone capable of defending. Larry Sanders? Not sure how he is now. Hasn't played in a while and his workouts, well at least according to the Celtics, were not impressive. Also, for those who want Matt Barnes, I don't want him messing up the chemistry. Plus, I will never forget him talking sh*t about Harden's mom.
I agree that what Barnes did was just too much to sign him. Our MVP's mothers was cussed out. Bogut on the other hand is different, yeah he called the team cunts, has given hard fouls and has gotten into scuffs with us over the years but that is just a tough player who has a rivalry with us. All forgivable if he signs. He didn't single out Hardens mother. Think Artest and Lakers. Dude gave Koby the throat cut and won a ring with him a year later.
I hope Tyreke Evans gets bought out. Would be a pretty good backup to Ariza. Also, there aren't really any quality backup wings on the market right now...
Is Bogut healthy, because he played like a p***y with Dallas. The fans there are saying he outright quit on the team.
To be eligible for the playoffs, a player must be waived before March 1st. Once waived, they can sign with another team at anytime after that though. There's no deadline for joining a playoff roster, recall Tracy McGrady joining the Spurs the last week of the season. fwiw: technically, they don't have to be bought out. That just helps Philly lower their cap hit and save money, which was likely part of the trade negotiations that Bogut would comply. Even without a buyout, once he clears waivers, he's a free agent to sign with anyone for any money.
He had like an ankle injury or something early in the season. Wouldn't say he quit on the team, but I'm sure it is annoying to be playing on a trash team.
