With the KJ trade, we've positioned ourselves well for what's supposed to be a "loaded" buyout market. So aside from Bogut (bad history; doubt it happens) and Barnes, who are the other potential buyouts?

I know a lot of this hinges on trades yet to have been made, but it'd be nice to have a list of names that could fit with us for this run. Who is our 2017 SMOOOOVE?

Haha - was just about to open this same thread. Let's get the speculation thread going! Points to the first person who thinks an all star is somehow going to get bought out and end up in Houston....

Can Bogut sign with the Warriors or is he barred from doing that since he was on their roster 365 days ago?

So question is will he choose Houston and more money over Cleveland and San Antonio?

Larry Sanders? He hasn't played in so long I doubt he'd be any help this year.

Barnes and Bogut are both jerks. I don't want them. Who else is a buyout candidate?

Hopefully Bogut wont make the same mistake again. He chose Dallas over Houston last time he was given an option to where he wants to be traded. I think Cleveland has the best chance to get him, that will spare Larry Sanders to be an option for us. San Antonio already has LMA, Paul Gasol, Kwahi front line..dont know if he wants to go there. There isn't much playing time for him there in my opinion.

If money doesn't matter, I would go with Cleveland. He'd have a great shot at getting to the Finals. San Antonio would offer less playing time and they have to deal with the Warriors. The Rockets also have Golden State in the way, but they at least offer more money and minutes.

Cleveland is probably a no brainer. Playing time for sure, easy road to finals.

I believe so. KJ and Ennis gone and we took back no players in return(that we didn't waive anyway).

So we've got $5m to spend now, right?

    Edit: Nevermind, looks like $3.5m

Williams would never come here. We're loaded in the backcourt.
