You are correct. And they will match any big offer. Yeah Nerlens Noel is another cry baby, diva who hasn't prove anything, and will probably be a headache for the Mavs. That will be a fun to watch for a Rockets' fan.

Unless you are a corner stone
If Wes doesn't get pay that much, I would love to have him on this team. Excellent 3&D player.

this makes sense I guess but damn now Philly has everything on Embiid who has yet to prove his health. At one point people thought philly was finally seeing steps forward. Now it seems they're going backwards now.

Ppl here really want Bogut? The same injury prone guy who could've came here but chose Dallas? Then said something slick about us? There is no reason we should even consider this flopping SOB. It's funny how some of you pick & choose who you want to hate. Bogut is a douche bag and locker room crybaby. DON'T WANT!!

First of all, can somebody explain to me how the salary works in this trade? Bogut alone already make more than 11M and Anderson 1.5M? There is no way Noel's salary can match up that amount. Some other players from philly in the trade also?

Maybe I'm just optimistic about the Mavs but I don't think they're gonna be as terrible as most people here think. Barnes has been decent for them, tbh their one real problem is paying the max to Wesley Matthews. Once that albatross contract is done they have 2 young pieces in Noel and Barnes which is more than what other crappy teams have.

I don't think 20M or so for Noels is that bad considering we're paying 18M to Anderson, that's the new going rate for elite role players. He is also in the best possible team to succeed, their coach is one of the best in the NBA and Barnes is a decent stretch 4.

Doesn't have to when Philly has enough cap space to absorb all that money. I wouldn't be surprised if this trade allows them to meet the salary floor. The past few years they've had to make a trade to take on more money in order to avoid having to pay out additional money to their players.

Huh? Noel makes 4M so Sixers only have to absorb around 8M in salary. They can easily do that the cap is at around 94M and they're like at 79M right now.

yeah a ton of people around here laughed at the fact Barnes could be good player without the gsw. Well he's obviously proved he's a very good player and him being a 3rd/4th option was a big luxury for GS. He very much is an all star caliber player

Can somebody, for the love of god, please answer the question of whether Bogut can go back to GS? No one has confirmed whether he has to wait a full calendar year to play for the Warriors again. I must know!

But seriously, bad trade for the 76ers. I like Anderson, but they should have gotten more than this. A 1st round pick with protections that don't allow them to get it this year? I wish Hinkie were still in charge.

I really like Barnes' play this season, he's really good at defense (locked down Anderson), can hit 3s at a decent clip and can definitely still improve he's only 24. It's the rest of the roster that's old, sucks, or both LOL.

But personally if I was DM I'd be thinking long and hard if I can't just get Noel myself, I haven't watched much of Sixers play but just based on stats he might be worth a look. Just like Capela Noels is just 22 years old he still has a lot of potential waiting to be tapped.
