Sad to hear Alan Colmes of Fox News passed away today. Very touching comments on air by his colleague Sean Hannity. While you may not have always agreed with his politics (even I criticized him in the past) he did always seem a gracious and kind man.
Probably doesn't need to be in the D&D, even if he's somewhat of a political figure. Unless you want to debate if he's actually dead or not?
I always respected the man, but he was a weak debater only chosen to make Hannity look good on Fox News. He never got equal talk time and Hannity always got the last word.
Yea, I weighed putting it in the hangout, but figured at some point a political discussion would break out. I also wondered how many people would have known he was outside of those familiar with his political commentary (though I didn't know he started out as a comedian).
Yeah it was pretty absurd at times. He was just a punching bag that Hannity could talk over. That of course was a different era when Fox tried a little harder to pretend to be "fair and balanced." Eventually they realized that there was no point. They had already captured their target market so the illusion made little sense. Also
