    Phillies got the upper hand on that trade IMO

    free up time for Embiid and got a 1st back and got a solid wing player in anderson and have bogut as a backup if they keep him

    Anyway Mavs building for the future. Barnes and Noel is a decent starting point. Still need a superstar though

    Does this mean Bogut will get bought out since he won't want to play for the sixers? Warriors should jump on this.

    He can't go to the Warriors because they traded him, but he can go to the Cavs or the Spurs.

    Protection on the pick means Dallas probably pays the pick NEXT year anyway. They'll keep a decent pick this year's loaded draft to add to Noel/Barnes. Dallas will get competitive again quickly.

    He can't go back to the Warriors for a year.

    I think we'd have a shot at him, especially since we pursued him before....that creates an impression with players.

    Not a bad protection for Dallas...Noel deserves a new spot...BUT hopefully the Rockets can pry him away in the offseason...LOL

    Secondly...Bogut most likely will be waived...I do think he could go back to Golden State...

    Given the protection on that pick, what a steal for the Mavs. I'm quite surprised the Sixers didn't insist on taking the Mavs' current, unprotected pick for a big of Noel's caliber.

    Bogut picked Dallas over us and they turned around and shipped him to Philly. 6 months later, Lou Williams asks to be traded to Houston. The narrative that Cuban treats his players better seems to be turning.
