    It appears as though NY is looking to trade Rose (not Anthony) and they want a PG back. That's interesting

    Rose is on an expiring contract and they are 11 games under .500. The Knicks have also been linked to Rubio and Reggie Jackson but may prefer Beverley and his "lock down" defense

    That's a tough one, I would trade Bev for rose in a heartbeat but my only concerns are chemistry and rose overall health

    I have no problems if Bev gets moved to the bench for someone else. But I wouldn't be trading him. He may not be the best in the world, but I really do think he's part of the heart and soul of this team.
    IF he's being considered as a trade piece, it better be for someone far better than Rose. Otherwise I'd put him in the category of untouchable like with Harden.

    Rose? Not for us. Unless we're throwing in the towel this season, wanting cap space for the summer. Not what I see going on.

    Good lord no. Rose is a shell of his former self. Not a good player anymore and hasn't been for a couple years now. 75% of the time Rose tries to play like his former self and it just doesn't go well... and he hasn't done a lot to improve himself with his declined athleticism (can't shoot 3's, terrible court vision). Bev is a much better fit for this team.

    Offensively on this team I think rose would produce more then Bev. But defensively we would suffer

    That and he a head case, not showing up to games? They better attach a 1st rounder! Even then i probably wouldnt Rose would be redundant, we have Lou Will now. ROSE is not worth Bev and team chemistry.

    You think a guard who shoots 24% from 3 will produce more on offense in this system than Beverley who shoots 40%? Derrick Rose at this point is basically a PG version of Corey Brewer who doesn't play defense.

    Just my opinion. I think his numbers would rise in this system and with the current supporting cast.

    But obviously my concerns are his health

    But it's irrelevant because the trade would cost us to many players for a 1 year contract

    I have a hard time thinking if this would be a good move also. Those stats do not lie though. I'm pretty sure him being the MVP (what is it 4 years ago?) is clouding my judgment. He is a version of what Westbrook would be if he had multiple knee blowouts versus Curry or Thompson who would both be more effective if they lost mobility because they can shoot so well.

    Sources tell me that the Bulls are interested in acquiring Beverley, Ariza and our 2nd for Butler but Rockets are on the fence about losing their top 2 defenders for 1. Just a random source.
