Thing is, if the Williams / Brewer trade is made into a 3-team trade, might have to wait until ALL players take the physical and pass before they can play. So, that probably keeps Williams out the the NOLA game.

Crazy thing about this ball handler is that he seems to force the action, but keeps turnovers pretty low. He doesn't need much space to get a shot off so he's tough to trap. He seems like the sort of player that you just have to hope is off.

The fact that Lou picked Houston is also huge. We lost a guy that loved us, but gained a guy that wants to be here.

Man this guy's form is great:eek:

Single motion, nice high release, very consistent upper body mechanics...

Passing isn't John Wall/LeBron spectacular, but those are high percentage passes and they're on target.

I know it's just highlights and everything is going well when that's what you see, but his balance when shooting is impeccable too.

There were a lot of negative things said about Williams when he entered the NBA draft. There were people that said he wasn't good enough and should of gone to college. There were people that assumed he was selfish on the court and that he was trouble off the court. Lou stills get a lot of garbage because he has an open relationship and he has two girlfriends.

The truth is that Williams has never really been a problem. He has stayed out of trouble and has been liked by his prior teammates and coaches. He has some limits because of his physical size; but he has always played and practiced hard. His improvement in form and efficiency is a direct result of his consistent hard work and intelligence.

If he was blond haired and had gone to college, everyone would be talking about how coachable he is and how he is a good professional.

Having that level of form can overcome a lot of issues shooting the ball. It really is a thing of beauty.

yup so many different combinations with how deep the rockets are at wing, that can work with how the game is played today. what a luxury this year

I like this look because other team's second units will simply not have the firepower to keep up with ours.

And his ability to draw fouls is Harden-esque.

Averages 6 attempts per game over the last two years. That's pretty good for coming off the bench. Nice observation!

Theres gonna be some shock value when he suits up for us then. Only the best scorer on the team gets the whistles go their way from the refs and we already have that in Beard. Gordon has already learned this year that he doesnt get the calls he got in New Orleans cause hes just a second fiddle.
