    Well that sux.

The double whammy of pleasing Harden by carrying Bobby Brown around, not once but twice. I guess I was thinking about the cap numbers before he guaranteed on Jan. 10th.

I'm sorry. But stuff like this signals me that Harden has too much control over personnel. Payton is an NBA player. He's already a plus defender at the point which is critical in today's game. In my opinion he's already a better defender than Bev. And I realize that's saying a lot and I can't prove it. But I'm confident it will bear out that way. If we don't get him locked up another team is going to steal him from us.

The Bobby Brown saga irritates me.

@DonatasFanboy thoughts on this? I think he is just getting a feel for his value and possibly could move him draft night or next year but putting out feelers to assess value?

One can hope. I think they should try to get best value now, but I mostly get disappointed after Bird's moves, so I've learned not to get my hopes up.

Usually we trade for proven products, and usually we wait too long. Low risk low reward. Ownership doesn't like real rebuilding.

3 team trade on the table per realgm boards

    Indy gets: Okafor/Jaylen brown/ BKN 17/Zeller

    Philly gets: Avery Bradley

    Boston gets: PG13/seraphin

Entirely unverified, but not a bad trade all around

Harden's "control over personnel" - real or perceived - has us as the 3 seed in the West. If Bobby Brown stops us from getting a player we need, then we're not trying hard enough.

That trade makes no sense. The Pacers deal Paul George and get two centers to pair with their current center? Boston gets George for basically Bradley and the pick? Philly gives up Okafor for a player they don't need right now?

That deal isn't on the table.

This trade actually works out for every party. Indy has wanted Okafor regardless. Turner can easily slide over the 4 seeing as though he's more of a face up LMA type player anyways. Zeller is nothing more than a backup. The pick that Boston gives up is an almost guaranteed top 4 pick. Also I think you skipped the part where Indy would get Jaylen Brown, #3 pick from this years draft. Philly gives up a player that's basically useless to them while getting Bradley giving the Sixers a veteran presence. AB is the exact type of guard you want if they plan on using Simmons as the defacto point guard. Boston gets their big 3 of IT, PG and Horford. If anything Boston is giving up too much.

No way Boston is giving up that much. They were barely willing to trade the Brooklyn pick by itself.

We should keep track of all the players traded for a 1st rounder.

    Kyle Korver
    Lou Williams
    Bojan Bogdanovic
