Considering CP3 and Lebron joined the union leadership and manipulated the entire CBA process in order to set themselves up for these enormous paydays in the upcoming free agency, it would truly be shocking if they walked away from a single dollar. They've spent years manipulating every decision of the union to get to a point where they could sign a massive mega deal with their current team.
Willams and Bev could be the back up PG's. George can handle the ball, and make us a big threat, along with another big. Pipe dream in my opinion.
HAH. No way in hell that gets you even a call to Indiana to get them interested in trading George. Keep in mind that you have to compete with the likes of the Celtics for a Paul George deal. The Celtics who have Nets picks, guys like Crowder, etc. to offer. Or the Sixers who have a slew of great draft picks, young bigs, and a ton of cap space to absorb contracts. I love the aggressive ideas, but there is no way in hell the Rockets can get PG unless George can manufacture his way to get leverage to the team of his choice which he can't at this stage.
This cmon guys if Butler or George is moved it will be to the Celtics or Lakers. They have been hoarding assets for years waiting to pounce. Bev and Ariza are not getting you a star player.
We don't have anything to offer for Paul George, be realistic. The only way I see taking Shump contract is with a blockbuster deal with Anderson and Ariza for Love and Shumpert. In that case the Beverly demand is understandable
The Rockets have more assets than people think... they can easily move players like Ariza, Capela, Beverley, Dekker and Harrell and plug a hole through a separate deal or internally.
