Don't want to sound like a know it all but you guys are soft when it comes to trades. If you believe that Daryl Morey is sitting in his chair thinking "We are a Bogut coming from the bench away from a ring", or "man if we can upgrade from Ariza to Wilson Chandler we can beat everyone" imo you are nuts. This to me screams Nikola vucevic, and yes Capela would be gone, and yes Nikola>>>>>>>>Capela, and yes numbers numbers numbers blah blah. That to me would be an all in Daryl "Big Balls" Morey type move IMO.
I dont think we should trade Ariza for anything. I think he's an integral part of our team chemistry. Hes a glue guy and offers us more value than others would unless its a superstar but that aint happening. We all saw last year how important team chemistry is. Ariza gets along well with Harden and the rest of the team, is (to quote clyde) "a consummate professional", loves Houston, and can defend multiple positions. It would be a mistake to move him. Random but Lakers cant trade for PG, at least till they know if they have their top 3 pick this year or not. Now Boston on the other hand can. BRK pick, Another pick, Crowder and one of avery bradley/marcus smart.
He's perfect for Dantoni's system. A great PicknRoll player with a much better defensive presence than any of our bigs. He will be great for a 'win now' team. Nene is expendable. He's ok but he's just not a good enough defender on the bigs that we will meet in the Playoffs like Gassol, Kanter, and Gobert. And Capela showed he can't deal with them as well. At this point we need to think of how were going to match up in the Playoffs.
how much money does George makes through commercials? What an idiot throwing who knows how many millions on fire by refusing his extension.
pretty much. I think they're just loading the team for this years playoff run and to see what happens. Which is the correct move imo because this team can hang with anyone as they've shown thus far. I don't think it's really that much going all in as they still are able to make moves if needed after the playoffs.
