Don't know what Harrell's value is. Personally, I value Holmes over Harrell and have ever since their draft. I wanted us to take Holmes instead of Harrell. And I still feel the same way. Would love to add Holmes at the right price, Ennis and a second.
Would rather give up Harrell too, but Capela has more value. In addition to Capela, Dekker, Ennis, KJ and negotiated pick(s), I would also throw in rights to Llull C. Talk about sweetener. Beard-Splash Bev-Lou Ariza-Covington Ryno-Covington Noel-Nene-Harrell That is a postseason roster right there, much better defensively and even more explosive offensively.
I'll concede, regardless of Capela or Harrel that's a damn good looking roster. Wrap up the paperwork boys, we doin this. Make it happen Morey.
Of course but financially is more important in this instance because no team is going to pay the max for a back up. Capela provides a starting center when Embiid is nicked up at a much better value than Noel.
@FANfrom86toNow @DatRocketFan @D-rock Yeah how dare we not give credit to the GOAT Ryan Anderson who's under a huge contract for 3 more years, that money wouldn't be better spent on a young guy with upside like Noel. Hayward and Blake will come here just like Melo and Bosh and KD and Lowry did.Let's just never shake up the roster and let these 30 something year olds develop chemistry. "Chemistry", if building chemistry takes so long explain why we peaked in December. Talent wins fam. Surround your MVP with as much as possible.
This trade wouldn't address any need, and the Bucks would have to be stupid to do it, but I would love an Ennis for JET swap. That vet presence will help this team. Bring Beasley back too; throw in Wiltjer. http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=jrlmm53 This is just me fangirling hard.
All facts. Don't speak them too often on here, the homerism and low basketball IQ brass might not like it. Anderson contact will be toxic in a year. Guaranteed. Still holding out hope the rockets move Ariza and KJ for Wilson Chandler. But will settle for thabo.
When you get down th the trade deadline reality sets in. The value just isn't there for Noel. And if they don't trade him now they've got to fiddle around with a sign-and-trade or flat out sign him to big money and then try to market him later. Philly is up against it over the next 27 hours or so trying to figure out what to do with Noel. They may not move Noel. But the idea of anybody giving them a good rotation player plus two first rounders is history. I have a funny feeling Noel winds up in Boston or Houston though. Those are the two teams that want him most.
NYK have two centers that are intriguing: Kyle O'Quinn - 4.29 Blocks Per 48 Willy Hernangomez - Top 10 in Rebounds Per 48 Not that Per 48 means a lot, but it's interesting. A few other players that might be on the radar: PJ Tucker, Kosta Koufos (salaries will be hard to match), Jahlil Okafor, & Nerlens Noel (Okafor and Noel will be hard due to lack of assets).
Not much actually. Just a little. Charlotte has brought him up and there was some interest. He'd be a great fit here starting in the middle.
There's a time and place to go for younger guys. Anderson is 28, not sum 30 year old dude. Why would u blow up a team mid season trading away a core player that contributed? Realist my ass just because u hate a player doesn't make u right. I don't care how much u hate Anderson u don't trade away for a younger unproven player like Noel so much risk especially when we making a push. U don't shake up majorly especially when we winning, only time u shake up is if u get best player not some unproven player like Noels. Be realist not delusional, wait until the season is over then demand trades Plus we have like dekker Harrell, capella, Zhou qi and wiltjer so many young talents.
All ryno does is spot up. That takes almost zero chemistry, he can't slash, defend, rebound or create. And he makes 2/3 of a max, sorry Morey had an analytic-gasm the summer of Mozgov and Turner getting paid, the mistake needs to be fixed before it's considered an albatross contract.
I hate the "unproven" argument. He has what it takes to be a top 10 C in the NBA under Harden. Eye test is a big factor.
