I think with thiis trade we have one of the best overall back court in the NBA, if not the best

Harden, EGoo, Bev and Lou Will got to be right up there

When Gordon has missed the lack of another playmaker has been brutal.

It was a much needed move IMO.

Disagree. Brewer was getting what - roughly 10min per game. Cut some of Ariza's and Dekkers minutes, plus there's more backup if Gordon or Bev go down with injuries or throw Lou in for extended mins if someone is having an off game.
Still think 15+min p/g is what he'll be getting.

Magic dealing so quick! He hasn't had time to hear it from the rest of the league about Morey. Morey must have told him listen you wanna tank no body will lose you games faster than Brewer.

Honestly Magic is the best type of GM for Morey to trade with. Former athlete that doesn't have respect for guys who "didn't even play the game."

It's like Morey is on one end of the phone and "ABS" is on the other.

Throw PG/SG lines out the window with this team.

    We have 4 combo guards

Absolutely love the trade but in reality it doesn't help us get over the hump if we keep getting beat on the boards. Clint needs to man up. That's my biggest concern going forward.

Assuming no other additions here's how I see the mins playing out.....

Actually I have no clue . Normally when Brewer was on the floor it was with bev, Gordon, Dekker , and a C .

Now neither Gordon nor bev can guard 3's ... Maybe SOME backup 3's but not the majority .

So how can Lou help us lower James and trevs mins ?

I get he can be a traditional backup point . If he plays 20 a game that's 76 min divided among the rest of the guard spots .

Bev should play 25 as should EG , so that leaves James with 26 ... Which although nice isn't enough . He needs about 7-8 more .

Sure he can take those from trev , but then who mans the SF for the rest of the game ?

Ideally we get trev down to low 30's or high 20's.

So maybe Dekker can play some 3 and Harrell can grab a few of his mins at the 4 . Also you WANT James and Ariza on the floor together ... For the most part . So the idea of James manning SF is a bit of a double edged sword.

It will be interesting to watch going forward

Fantastic trade. Would love to see a legit big man but looks like the only real option is to bolster the firepower and just keep attacking.

THIS. You shipped out one of the weakest bench players (that gets minutes regularly) in the league and replaced him with one of the two best bench players in the entire NBA.
