Seems like the plan; until it's not. Lol. I'm not a fan of "Small-Ball" that is multiple 6'3" guys. Lou being listed as
6'1". I prefer 6'8" players who won't be as much of a liability vs post up game. I'm open minded though.
I await to see the final product of this master plan. I will come back later and report it's strengths or
weaknesses. So far I see conflicts in usage. People will need to adapt. Or another move(s) coming.

KJ plus Ennis get you to $5,000,000, so you can package them with a 2nd or overseas stash to upgrade another position without messing with our chemistry and rotation except to upgrade. You could bring in a player up to about 6 million with those two. Add Harrell and one of the rooks, and that gets you a player up to about $7,500,000....but you only do that if it's for another big.

We can still add another quality player into the rotation by the deadline, but it can't be a high salary without giving up a rotation piece. I doubt Morey gives up a rotation piece unless it's for a borderline allstar, because our chemistry is so good right now.

Yes, Dealing with a team so far under the salary floor like Philly allows you to send more salary in exchange for less.

76ers are currently around $77 mil. The salary floor is around $84 mil.

I think you have it backwards from what I'm saying. I'm saying that we can take in more salary than we are sending out, not the other way around.

Honestly, in this scenario would give them both and not look back. It would be a steal.

No, I understand what you are saying. What I'm saying is using your KJ+Ennis $5 mil for say someone like
    Covington $1 mil. Several options.

Oh yes, got you. But I doubt that Morey would want to do that because then you have less salary to make a trade later. But yes, you are probably correct that it could be done.

True, just an example. I haven't looked at those teams needing to add salary....I believe Utah is another.
Jazz probably won't deal with us (2 playoff contenders).

Would be a good trade, especially if he was 2 inches taller! Him or N.Young? Hmmm...I would take Young due to size and 3pt shooting. But Morey must not want the character.

Yes!!! I can't believe Morey pulled it off! Williams is perfect for this team.

    I hope you are right.

    per basketball-reference.com
    Harden......USG% (34.5) Ast% (50.7)
    Gordon......USG% (23.6) Ast% (14.2)
    Lou W........USG% (30.6) Ast% (22.8)

I'm hearing Harden asked for Lou Williams. So much for keeping the team "as is" from Harden.lol
Hope it turns out better than Ty Lawson.....whom he also asked for. Should be interesting.

I was wrong too, thought 1st was too high and never in my wildest dreams thought they would take Brewer. Wow.
