This is what I've been waiting on. Brewer finally gone...YES!! There must be another trade going down for a big man
with only getting rid of Brewer is already A+++++++++++++++++++, let alone we have a guy who is averaging 18p this season in return. well done!
I think some people are underrating this trade. We turned our black hole into a Sixth Man Player of the Year candidate. Now we have two in Lou and Eric.
A championship team does not give Brewer consistent rotation minutes, period, so that's an instant huge upgrade. It also should allow for our starters to not have to play as many minutes and having Lou and EG out there will add to the efficiency of the bench. Great move for sure.
B+. Guarantees there will no longer be any shortage of shot creation with the first unit, second unit, or any combination thereof. Doesn't aid the team's struggling D. First round pick is a relatively steep price for what he is, however, I think the current team situation warrants paying out draft picks to make a clear step forward. Doesn't make this a title team, but definitely makes me slightly confident of a conference finals trip rather than fairly skeptical.
B+ is what I wanted to give. Not a perfect fit, but on the fundamental value of the trade there's nothing to argue. I'm less concerned about the price of a draft pick than you, but otherwise agree. Also makes it a potentially SUPER EXCITING team to watch now lol. #allyourguardsarebelongtous However, while I was a fan of it when the Suns tried it, most people here crapped all over them a couple of years ago for having three ball dominant guards and said that can never work.
I think its a win-win for both teams. Lakers want to tank harder and Lou is pretty amazing if you give him the green light off the bench which D'antoni will do.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Wow. Rockets got Lou Williams for nothing!!!! Trade 1st round pick to get rid of Brewer(same deal that had with Lakers to take on Lin) BUT BUT BUT THIS TIME, we get Lou Williams for FREE FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE MIT GENIUS MOREY
