I don't disagree that we have a rebounding issue, but Brookie-boo doesn't solve it haha. Also at $20 million+ it would be a tough deal to make.

Another reporter said the Bulls want a lottery pick for Taj Gibson haha!

Smart may cost too much, what about Terry Rozier instead?

Children, Boston is the #2 seed in the East. They are not trading Avery Bradley unless they secure Butler.

A lot of teams want a 1st rounder for their mediocre players. They're just posturing and won't be getting that.
None of these players are worth a first for them alone: Williams, Young, Wilson C, Tucker, etc.

Gallo might be worth a first but I don't want him.

Teams will relent and go with 2nd round picks or not trade at all. Lots of smoke being blown right now as is usual at this point.

I probably overrate Bev but I love the guy. It would be awesome to have both. The Celtics want another "star" which we don't have but I would love to be a 3rd team and snag Bradley.

Stupid children, you're forgetting they are the #2 seed largely without his help. He hasn't play much but they've been better without him actually. Him and Smart are redundant. Smart has taken his role and they have top picks coming up in a guard heavy draft so he's expendable now and still worth something. Or they lose him after next year for nothing because they're not gonna pay him, Smart, and their top 3 drafted guard. So chances are he's getting moved. Maybe not this year but next for sure. Also, the last time we had an AB he was 'aight!

Don't forget Boston wants another "star" and reportedly they have been discussing Butler, Griffin, and Melo so Morey needs to make sure we positioned as a 3rd team.

He's dropping 17ppg (40% on high volume 3's) and excellent defense in 34 minutes, he is absolutely instrumental to them being #2, even if not in the last couple of weeks!!

Not to mention, they will have no issues paying him. He makes $8m, their draft pick will make $3-4m, Jae Crowder makes just $6m. Even if Smart gets $16m they can easily afford all of those guys. These are their most expensive SG/SF's. Ainge has managed their situation very well.

Another thing is, even when a player becomes unnecessary, their value doesn't disappear. Bradley has put up an excellent season, and in fact an excellent few seasons back to back. He is on contract one season after this one. All the teams with cap space - Minny, Philly especially - would be drooling to have him and would give up serious assets + swallow his contract whole.

I'm extremely high on Bradley. I would even give up Ariza in a package for him right now. For me it's a dream scenario. Beverley and Bradley could lock up the backcourt and we would be able to hide Harden's defense with opposing SF's instead of G's, and he has always seemed better at guarding bigger player.

But the best we can offer is probably Harrell, #27 and Ariza. I'm not sure they take that. I'm not so sure Minny wouldn't give them #6 for Bradley and a future top 14 protected 1st. I think Philly would give them Okafor and #35.

Everyone knows Bradley is a heck of a player, and no one knows it better than Ainge. He's not going anywhere unless Boston acquires Butler or George.

Let's see. I would want nothing more than to get Bradley, but feel like we don't have the assets to play.
