KJ plays some defense and showed he can be the recipient of Harden's alley oops, but he seems to be in the doghouse for lack of a jumper and (according to Codman?) not being a great teammate with this crew. One thing might lead to another: this coach values shooters, D not so much, so he doesn't pretend to want to be here. Soooooooo.........I'd be surprised if he's still here past the deadline, even if he's just acquired for the other team to waive (I think KJ has a team option for the summer?) Maybe another team values him; we don't.
I believe DM the GM knew what he was doing. As I've maintained all along. HEAD CASE. DO NOT WANT This article sums it up pretty well. Even their play by play announcer was pretty much Tweeting "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead". Sacramento now breathing a collective sigh of relief http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...marcus-cousins-trade-isnt-who-you-think-it-is
Those tweets came from a shill for Kings management who is leaking bad things about Cousins to try to save face. Let's all conveniently ignore the fact that Kings management did everything in their power to sabotage Cousins with terrible draft picks, free agent signings, and lack of institutional stability.
It would be ironic if Morey gets Tyson Chandler and Barbosa. Is Dantoni trying to get all his old crew back from Phoenix and NY back?
I think Wilson Chandler would be a great addition at the cost of Brewer and KJ (who doesn't play). Chandler would allow Decker to play the 3 and Wilson the 4 spot...
A month ago, I would have said "no" to this because adding Chandler essentially kills any flexibility the Rockets would have this offseason to add another star caliber player. But that was when I thought Capela was a solid defensive starter. I'm starting to seriously doubt that, and if they don't have a solid defensive 5, I'd put that need well ahead of another scorer. If Morey can make this happen, I say do it. It will make the team much better in the short-term, and you worry about the long-term ramifications later.
I'm kinda new to clutch fans so I didn't know I just thought codman was legit but great to know about cyber too
Atlanta would just laugh at this offer. The Rockets have no real enticing draft picks. All the players you are throwing at them are rejects. You can't keep everything you want and still get what you want in a trade. I don't think the Hawks are that stupid. You've got to give up more if you want a guy like Millsap.
i pray for the love of god we don't give up rotation guys, except brewer. i will be disappointed if we part ways with ariza.
I'm not against a trade for Chandler, I'm just not sure what it would take. Brewer would have to be included, which means our 2017 first is also included. Maybe KJ, Brewer, our 2017 1st and Denver's 2017 2nd. Still seems unlikely
