    Long story short, my friend has always been a bit of a germaphobe, had not been intimate with this new girl, had been putting off for a while it seems, finally got the courage to ask the chick to take a test (together of course) and she dumped him.

    Not he hadn't but he said got a a a bit of a rash with his last gf and that really freaked him out. He got tested and was ok but I guess he decided to take preemptive measures this time around.

    I've never dated a girl for more than a month or so who I wouldn't trust to go unsheathed without mutual testing. And I've been with many women, am 42 and disease-free with no kids. There's something to be said for being proactively smart.

    I do not want to generalize this but this is from own experience.

    I think girls do react differently to things than we guys do, if someone suggested to me to get a test together, hell, I would be all for it.

    Let's clear things up and see where things stand. I hope for your friend it was not too serious.
