I've always wondered what would have happened if Morey didn't release him and got him to play in Houston for one more year, the year when we got to the WCF. Would he re-sign with us?
If he were on the rockets, I'd be pissed. But seeing as how he's on the grizzlies I personally find this hilarious.
Why would people be mad that he's on vacation when it's ASB lol Sure he hasn't played much but he was still probably traveling and haven't gotten away from all that traveling with the team and get away with his friends. Anywho just glad we didn't pay him 90 million to sit on the bench but this isn't something to be mad about.
I doubt anyone here is mad at him, Grizzlies fans might have the right to be mad, but all of us are just making fun of him for seemingly caring more about partying than winning.
Just go get one, there's nothing to be jealous of. No matter what team or what size contract. If hes got hurt and wanted to go to cancun, believe me he's going. I do hate to see wasted talent. Hopefully he clears his mind to get focused on basketball and heals correctly.
I remember a story in preseason about Jadeveon Clowney being seen at New Orleans casino, after he didnt travel with the team so he can rehab an injury. Made him look bad like "Whats he doing, WHY's he NOT at the TRAINING facilities?!". Questioning his dedication. And he went on to have a Pro Bowl season. People react that way after losses too ("Why is Kevin Martin SMILING during game while team is LOSING!?" "Why is Harden at THE CLUB after Rockets just got BLOWN out?!") We can judge based on reputation, impressions, and always on production and pay. We dont know what Parson does or doesnt do to train. We only know what he shows. Parsons might have wear on his body, but he's not hobbled and immobile where he cant walk and cant do anything. If Parsons was hosting a charity drive instead of partying, itd be respected. Though wouldnt that STILL be the same thing - SKIPPING training and rehab for off-court interests? Lets be real, its partying itself that has a negative non-serious carefree connotation to it. It plants more suspicion about maturity level. But I have no problem with players LIVING IT UP. Cuz bet your ASS I'd be doing the SAME things on my FREE time
When you win and you contribute, party all you want. When you're a loser that doesn't, complain about others not calling you a star, seemingly don't care about the bridges you've burned, then I'd try a little harder to stay out of Instagram. It's a bad look. It's like coming in late for work all the time, using all your personal days, ducking out early, then getting drunk at the company Christmas party.
