I think that link automatically directs to the login-ed profile, not any specific poster's page. If you logout and click that link, it will get you to the login page.
Likes are less interesting than rep was. I prefer Rep for 2 reasons: (1) The comments people would put for why they repped, and (2) rep wasn't cheap because of that comment box; seems like velocity went up with likes because you just click a button and move on.

I also miss reps, likes don't have the same commodity value. Reading the rep bar was always fun aswell
