How does our alt-right friends from bobby to space to dei explain defending this man and voting for him???? Trump is clearly mentally ill. He needs to be removed from office.
It's funny because on Sean Hannity, they played about 4 soundbites and he sounded very Presidential and reasonable. Then I listened to the whole thing. I guess even Justin Bieber has a decent song or two.
WOW! I just watched this, and my respect for Shepard Smith just went through the roof, and I don't ordinarily have anything good to say about Fox News at all. What a powerful statement by Smith. Kudos for posting that. When someone like Shepard Smith tears Trump a new one, something is seriously wrong in this Republican White House.
This is how they defend it. And I'm not saying I'm agreeing, but probably something like this: 1. In spite of all his horrific personality traits, I agree with his policies and not with, say, Clinton's. On the issues, I had to vote for Trump- especially those single-issue people like abortion and such. 2. The people at his intellectual level see him as one of them. They're rude, crass, belligerent, etc. and so they applaud him. 3. He acts the way some of us wish we could. In certain moments, we'd like to brag incessantly about ourselves. We'd like to tell an annoying reporter to shut up. We'd like to be pompous. Heck, the way some of us talk about women in here isn't a humongous difference from him. That would be my guess. It's not my style, but I suppose that's what they like. I had to listen bikers at Sturgis for 1 week talk about how great Trump was. One guy at a bar even said, "Yeah, Trump's one of us."
Trump's press conference was brilliant and if most of you are hating on it then it means that it was exactly what was needed. Taking his message directly to the American people is the only way to go when the biased media is out to craft their own agenda. And his reaction to the Jewish reporter was a response to his inflammatory question from the previous day at the Netanyahu press conference where he accused Trump and his supporters of inciting a rise in hate attacks on Jewish groups in the US. That was a ridiculous, inaccurate, and disrespectful question. Trump is essentially a Jewish president if you look at his principles, associates, and familial connections. To imply that Trump's rhetoric is encouraging his supporters to attack Jews is ridiculous.
What message is he taking to the American people? And how does blatantly lying and repeating falsehoods accomplish that?
If lying about things that make no sense is brilliant, then yes his conference was brilliant. The question from the Jewish reporter wasn't offensive or disrespectful yesterday, or today. We know that anti-semitic groups support Trump, so it makes sense to ask him about that. Trump is in no way a Jewish president. A Jewish President would not have ever hired Steve Bannon. He's never been in danger from anti-Semitic threats, and doesn't have a family history of that.
He lied and acted like a child, but at least we know what you teach your kids now. Don't procreate.... or don't procreate again please. We don't need people with morals and values that belong in the sewer to be spreading this garbage.
I forgot #4: This is how they defend it. 1. In spite of all his horrific personality traits, they agree with his policies and not with, say, Clinton's. If I thought you were being sarcastic this would be a hilariously awesome post. Knowing that you are completely serious makes me feel sorry for you.
Trump is letting the media get to him and that's a shame because I'm glad someone is finally calling out the media on all sides for their bullshit. Obama sort of did it with Fox but it wasn't ruthless enough but Trump has unleashed the wrath on all of them deservedly so. I only wish he had the temperament and intelligence to handle the media scumbags be he doesn't.
