    From your articles:

"According to the Journal’s analysis, over the last six months the YouTuber posted nine videos that include either antisemitic jokes or Nazi imagery, including one, posted on 11 January, that featured two men holding a banner that stated: “Death to all Jews”. Another video, posted 22 January, featured a man dressed as Jesus saying, “Hitler did absolutely nothing wrong”.

The video site has cancelled the second season of PewDiePie’s reality show, Scare PewDiePie, and removed his channel from a premium advertising programme following the revelations.

It has also removed advertising from the controversial videos, including one in which he paid two Indian men to pose with a sign that said “death to all Jews”. His 53 million-strong subscriber channel is safe, however, and he will still be able to generate revenue from traditional YouTube display advertising."

My understanding based on your articles is he was dropped from his corporate sponsorship for posting videos. He still has all his videos on YouTube and the ability to make money off his current and future videos through standard views. This is fascism to you?

you've quoted fake news. watch his vid, straight from the horses mouth, it's bogus.

and yes it fascist to punish some comedians but not others for the same types of jokes. also fascist to build a fake news propaganda machine to target someone. also fascist to burn down a campus because someone you disagree with is scheduled to speak.

we should be allowed to disagree with each other but the pc left and media won't allow it. they prefer pitchforks instead. that's a form of fascism.

Sounds terribly fascist for a company to decide what they want to support. Ipaman's Trumpanzee act has gone beyond full r****d.

It's real simple. If you voted for Trump, fine, you had your reasons. If you're still justifying his behavior now, you're a dope, plain and simple. No reasonably sane, intelligent person can defend this child that somehow was elected President.

Predictable idiotic response. Disney and YouTube cancelled based on the outrage generate by fake news from the WSJ you facking idiot. They have the right to cancel, that's not fascist. But their decisions to cancel were based on facts which in fact were fake news!!! I can't believe you don't get that or if you do you're totally fine with it. Disgusting.

btw... ESPN did something similar to a tennis announcer who just filed suit this week. Go look it up.

notice how all the folks defending the media did so without watching pewdiepie's own video first. maybe they can't because of work or whatever but they couldn't help but reply because 1) it's my thread and 2) they can't admit the media is evil because that would tangentially support trump. the bias is real folks.

    1. I follow a lot of media and have never heard of this "controversy." I've also never heard of the person.
    2. Methinks, once again, at the alter of outrage, we see people confusing "freedom of speech" (meaning the government can't lock you away for what you say, except "fire" in a theater, etc.) with "freedom for me to say whatever I want and suffer no consequences in my economic life as a free citizen." The latter has NEVER existed. Ask the people boycotting Rogue One, or ask Howard Cosell, et multi alia.
    3. Combining 1 & 2, I think I smell another case of rally the angry right base against 99% of the media and all liberals in general, etc.

Boring. Negative for the country. Tell me when the government is threatening this guy from making bad jokes.

The GOP has the entire government. I would like to see more time with big boy pants and less time whining about liberals or some asshat who lost a private economic arrangement based on blowback for his behavior.

All of your responses are predictably idiotic. When you have an idiot who lies all the time, the surest way to protect himself from his own lies is to constantly delegitimize the very body that is there to hold him accountable for his lies. Hence, all your fake news bull crap attached to legitimate stories about the p***y grabber in chief. It's like somehow you think this tactic isn't completely obvious to anyone with any kind of education whatsoever.

#1 I don't even know who the hell is PewDewPie.

#2 A grown man that goes by the name PewDewPie deserves whatever the hell happens to him.

#3 How is this possibly worth a thread?

Good lord, ipaman, you have every right to your opinions, but the right wing machine has whipped you into an unhealthy lather. "the media is evil."

Really? The media is just trying to make money. They put up what gets clicks with their audience, whether its Fox and Friends (old stodgy people) or Slate (youngish would-be hip people) or CNN (disaffected older liberals).

Can we move this thread from D&D to something more appropriate (is their a cartoon thread somewhere?)? Unless PewDeePie is being considered for a cabinet position under Trump. Which probably isn't too far off...

Okay, I've read up, and I don't get what your upset about. He's got a deal with Disney, he said things to make business tough for Disney, so they dropped him like a bad habit. Maybe he's been misunderstood and unfairly maligned. So what? That's part of the business. This is why actors have agents, presidents have spokesmen, and companies have PR departments. Maybe feel sorry for him if you're a fan, but I don't get blaming the news, or calling the news fake when it seems what they've reported is true.

After the Wikileaks threads that exposed outright collusion between a single political party and many large east coast media outlets, (never disputed I might add) I stopped listening/reading their coverage all together. The slant and bias is so blatant that there is zero chance to get fair, impartial, and balanced coverage from them. It's no longer in doubt that we in the public are being manipulated.

To be blunt, they are no longer media outlets, they are propaganda. I treat them as such.

Disney and You Tube are exercising their freedom to remove one of their employees from their payroll. Who cares? Nothing illegal done here, freedom of speech is still real.

As soon as you realize why Disney and YouTube canceled this youtube comedians shows while other comedians that are just as if not more obscene with jokes against, blacks, jews, Christians, etc... actually get more work from Disney and others let me know.

This isn't about Trump but your so anti-Trump that you can't turn everything into Trump. You're like the Thanks Obama! meme
again you don't care because it isn't you and that's said because it could be any of us.
