Kind of odd that he's admitting he needs to be "pushed" to do the right thing.

Doesn't Congress have to vote to make changes to the Ethics committee? Didn't know the President has power over the Ethics Committee.

Boy what a win it was back in January to stop the Republicans from voting to dismantle the Ethics Oversight Committee. Not that they are doing anything yet, but at least its getting pressure to finally do something. Without it there, like the GOP wanted, how much more freedom would the White House have to run wild?

I read it as the "Ethics Office," and assumed that it wasn't related to Congress. I hope the Ethics Oversight Committee is working hard digging out corruption and law breaking in the Trump administration.

Looks like its the House that would be in charge of dismantling the Ethics Oversight Committee.

    http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/02/polit...hics-oversight-of-ethics-committee-amendment/

I assume the President can't do much with the Ethics Committee other than bash them publicly or make a deal with Paul Ryan and the rest of the GOP mob to unleash him even further. Looks like Paul Ryan didn't want to dismantle the committee probably because he wants to retain that power over Trump to keep him in line if needed.

My guess if they are wasting their time on the propaganda minister KC, its more likely to send a message to Trump. I doubt they really care what she says since she has very little credibility at this point, and they probably want to keep the peace with the White House, and only want to use their bullets in the chamber if they really have to.

If the Dems controlled congress, they would have so much material to impeach Trump and/or investigate every facet of his administration.

WH and Trump both unfollowed her in the last hour on Twitter. What a world we live in.

Trump may need to spend another weekend at Mar-a-Lago to ponder how to deal with Conway's ethics violation.

Seriously? Another of Trump's top advisers is going down? What incredible upheaval and Trump hasn't been in office a month. It reflects the chaos produced Donald Trump's election. The man had no idea what he was getting into, and in my opinion, never truly, in his heart of hearts, thought he would win.

The bizarre 31 year old Fascist (in my opinion, and the opinion of a hell of a lot of other folks familiar with the guy), Stephen Miller, described in the media as a "top adviser" to the President, will also be going down in the not too distant future. In my opinion, naturally.

Apparently not. I was misled by some rogue Tweeters.

edit: actually the more I look into it the more confused I am. It's like the NBA here.

OK. The reports were WH and POTUS accounts unfollowed Conway, but I checked and they're both following Conway at this moment. Conway used to have a background of Trump, but it's gone. Conway's Twitter still says Counselor to the President.

I feel like this is some TMZ bullshit, and I am annoyed with myself for even looking into it. Twitter is so stupid.
