I'd take the period for now. The question mark on the 22nd of Feb.

Ha....it calms tension and nerves and help get by, day to day.

At Ibaka' age, that'd be cruel of Hennigan to do Ibaka like that and rob him of a chance to contend this season. He's been a good player for them. Then again, he's an UFA by season' end.

Eh...i just think they'll trade him where the best offer comes from, unless he'll be against some particular destinations -> like the Kings

If we get him cheap then fine. But I don't want to handcuff ourselves for FA. We need to keepnour cap where can go after Millsap or Haywerd.

    I really wanted Ibaka
TOR are smart and make the trade
    And paid for it.
And some people didnt want to give a real asset. You dont find a player like Ibaka so easy.
    Terrible news for us.

We better do something or when playoffs start we will get murdered at the 4 because trash Anderson is tras on D... bottom line. Not to mention Capela is not tough enough yet either.

Good deal for both sides. I'm sure Toronto didn't want to part with Ross but ultimately made the leap finally.

This isn't terrible news for the Rockets. We are still a better team and this really doesn't affect the Rockets in any way shape or form. If Morey wanted him bad enough, he probably could have had him.

While I would have welcomed Ibaka here, I'm not nearly as high on him as others on the board.

Morey has his sights on a bigger prize IMO. Will it happen? Probably not, but he'll surely try.

How can we have possibly beaten the Ross + 1st package?! Even Ariza + 1st wouldn't have made it work.

Move on folks. This is the market. I'm glad we were not caught on the wrong side.

I remember making this argument when we passed on every point guard available a few years and then went into the playoffs with Jason Terry as our starter because Isaiah Thomas didn't move the needle enough.

Morey's deadline approach: Look for a star who the other team has to get rid of or trade scraps for a scrub.

Who else is available? Gonna suck to see Harden get stuck under the playoff pressure that's coming his way.

Hard to get mad at Morey over that. Ross is locked up for 2 more seasons at 10.5 mil per year. That's better than anything we could've given them unless we were prepared to hand over some of our young talent like Capela or Dekker and I don't think Morey wants to screw around with our depth or team chemistry right now.
