I've been all for it. Never liked him myself previously; but when Atlanta was on fire sale mode I looked
into his stats. At the time he was rated the number one defender at the SF position; which would
come in handy vs LeBron and K Durant. His left corner 3 % was good enough at the time to allow
him to be on the court (Morey would emphasize his positives).

As I noted w/ 82games.com: Dekker plays SF 6% of his/or team court time. Which means Rox need another
Wing (not named Brewer). Stauskas, Tucker, Sefolosha, Wilson Chandler, Courtney Lee, James Johnson,
?Casspi?, Covington, Gerald Henderson, yada yada yada. All pending price & fit.

*Side note: Dekker is listed as Dekkar on 82games

Edited later: just looked it up Sefolosha is 40% (left corner 3), 37.5% (right corner 3), 27.9% (above break). Aminu is 22.7% (left corner 3), 45.5% (right corner 3), 27.7% (above/break).
    C Lee 47.6% (left corner 3), 40.0% (right corner 3, 40.2% (above the break).

That's a reasonable option for us....if Atlanta is really a seller.

Small forward is houston weakness, Ariza, Derrek, Brewer, KJ McDaniel. Hope morey makes a trade to improve small forward. I suggest houston to buy Zach Randolph next year.

@RocketsFanBrian The apple of Morey's eye is still Dunleavy.
    55.6% (left corner 3), 44.4% (right corner 3), 33.3% (above the break)

Morey M.O. is to pursue the same players relentlessly until they become Rockets.

Reports out stating Chicago is looking for a 1st in exchange for RoLo or McDermott so I'm guessing yes.

I'd give our first for McDermott.

[RoLo] I don't think that would be bad. His contract is kind of friendly actually. However, we need to bolster the 3. We gotta match 13 mill to trade. I couldn't find a good blend except for the Brewer, KJ, Ennis combo we throw in everywhere lol So that plus a first? Makes us really thin at the 3 though. Definitely gotta get some insurance.

A friend of mine is a Chicago fan and asked me this. I said no originally but after talking back and forth I can to the conclusion if I could dump brewer and grab mcdermott for our 1st I would be OK with it.

We both agreed he's kind of a 2nd rd in return kinda guy. Kj+earliest of our two 2nds or brewer+1st. Chicago chooses.

But that's at the deadline deadline and all other avenues have been exhausted.

I really think brewer needs to be replaced with someone productive in our offense.

Nope, McLemore does not suck. Just dropped 23 the other night with 6 threes. Lack of a good coach that could develop him, toxic environment (the Kings, c'mon now) and a system that does not suit his strengths.

He would absolutely kill it here.

I understand your points, and he has "potential"(that infamous word) but he has 4 years now of not being a good player.

All his stats, traditional and advanced, all paint him no better than average at best.

I'm not against the idea of taking a flyer on the guy but I also heard that Sacramento won't give him away and are willing to see what happens in free agency where they don't even mind losing him if he gets too expensive but could easily match offers.

Where did you hear that? If what you say is true then there's no point talking about him any further.

No, he hasn't lived up to his pick yet and you are right his stats are average but that's half the point I'm making. This dude can shoot the ball. He would feast off the amount of looks we generate. Super athletic, get out in transition and run. He would be a perfect here 100%. As would Tim Hardaway Jr. Shabazz Muhammad would be handy too.

Honestly I can't remember now. A podcast about Sacramento? Or twitter somewhere I can't recall anymore lol.

I like both shabazz and thj

Also @Cashmoney they never said he wasn't available, but that they won't be fleeced. They are either getting quality for him or letting him hit FA. Not worried about losing him in free agency but if he gets too rich they don't mind losing him.

Almost sure it was Lowe podcast but not positive.

The report is that Houston had a deal in place for him and pulled out, not that he was taken off the market.
