He didn't do anything illegal but definitely ill advised with the current liberal media attention to bring down anything Trump related. He let himself and Trump down by lying and not predicting the media scrutiny ahead and giving them nothing to turn into something. Like Bengazhi or any other fake "scandals," this is absolutely not a big deal but it's being blown way out of proportion by the media. The media focused on his conversations with Russia while the Administration focused on his lying and rightfully so. As a government official you can lie to almost anyone but not the POTUS and VP and that's entirely on him. He's a fake bad hombre.

Konstantin Kosachev, chairman of the foreign affairs committee at the upper chamber of the Russian parliament, said in a post on Facebook that firing a national security adviser for his contacts with Russia is "not just paranoia but something even worse."

Kosachev also expressed frustration with the Trump administration.

"Either Trump hasn't found the necessary independence and he's been driven into a corner... or Russophobia has permeated the new administration from top to bottom."

 

Why isn't congress screaming about all these leaks, about inappropriate connections to Russia, and how incompetent Trump has been thus far.

The sooner Pence is in, the sooner we can get an extreme right government. Goodbye gay rights and abortion rights. And a repeal of Obamacare with nothing to replace. Lets continue to double down on the insanity.

 

For the sake of national security I would rather have a social conservative who has nuanced understanding of govenment and is willing to read multiple page memos over a president who desires all breifings and policy papers to be expressed in a single page paper with pictures and 'maps'.

Trump is grossly under-qualified at a unprecedented level and it's a ****ing detriment to national security.

I would rather have Pence. I'll feel slightly more secure about this nation.
